  1. It's been a minute since I've poked my head into the Wilco Metaverse, so pardon me if this is old news. Why is the Wilco Subreddit now private? Also, how do you get an invite?
  2. Just some quick notes, Jeff seemed in good spirits and had some great banter with the crowd. I'm not going to provide all of the commentary on the banter, but one topic I did pick up on was Jeff mentioned upcoming hip replacement surgery and throughout the show he took some deep hip stretches. In addition, I saw that as he made his way off and back on the stage in between the regular set and encore that does seem to be struggling with his mobility. Anyway, I wish him a speedy recovery and hope folks have a great time down in Brooklyn!

  5. Last night the Book Tour pulled into Boston. Moderated by WBUR Arts and Culture Reporter, Amelia Mason who asked wide ranging questions regarding Jeff’s childhood music buying strategies, rock journalism, first guitars, Jay Farrar and Uncle Tupelo. The interview went on to cover Susie, YHFT, opioids, anxiety and depression. This was then followed by crowd submitted questions. Pro tip tool, be sure to fill out your question upon receiving your copy of the memoir upon entry. We running late and I completely missed it. Jeff ended with 3 songs Having Been is No Way to Be IATTBYH Let’s Go Rain

  7. 03/26/2009 was a great show too! An interesting night of banter and playing. Sherwin Moore Suicide Watch Series of Paint banter regarding the dismal weather, a perfect night for a Jeff Tweedy concert. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I think my perception of that exchange between you and Jeff was colored more by the conversation I heard on my way out. I know that for some Jeff’s banter has rubbed them the wrong way. But my overall take is that it is and has always been part of his performance. Even though he has even admitted that maybe he should just stop talking. I just hope he keeps playing for years to come. I especially enjoy seeing him solo in small venues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Burlington had the rowdies out in full effect. During Ohmme’s set I could hear them from my spot at the rail all the way towards the back near the side bar. Talking throughout the set and it was from the same direction that the spouting of dumb drunken yelp of “turn it up” came. To which Jeff shook his head and strummed his guitar and said, “ this is all there is, sir.” There were also some random nonsensical fanboy shouts of have “Golden Smog play Solid Sound” just as Jeff was stepping to the mic to start playing a song. The funniest banter from Jeff on the night was about how he had been ca

  11. I remember feeling scared and worried in the Spring and Summer of 95. I remember that Wharf Rat being talked about frequently and often referenced as one of the worst shows of the summer. I was fortunate to go out on the RFK shows, which were better, but even the Charlotte show in the spring with Hornsby which is considered one of the best of the year listening to the Scarlet is painful as he mumbles and bumbles. 12. I find Saturday's set to be nothing short of amazing. When you consider it forced them to remove multiple staples from their standard set. I can't remember seeing a Wilco show that hasn't included a heavy selection of songs from both Being There and YHF. It must have taken some extra work to come up with that setlist. 13. Sorry to hear, I wish you speedy recovery.
  14. Are you shooting this weekend?
  15. I'll be there today!! My first time to Solid Sound and first time seeing the boys since the 2014 Winterlude in Chicago. I'll be wearing a tie dyed izod and smiling. My first name is Andy, but Jackins works just as well. Have fun folks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Here's a shot in the dark, wondering if anyone has extras for the upcoming Courtney Barnett show in Cambridge, MA on 5/18. Looking for two tickets at face value.
  17. I guess it must be something to do with Nels' family?
  18. Last time these guys were touring Julian got sick and they had to cancel dates because Julian was sick. Tonight's show and the remainder of their short tour were cancelled due to an urgent family health matter. Anyone, know what's going on?
  19. Any idea on when single day tickets will go on sale?
  20. The posters from the entire run are now available for sale on the artist's site!
  21. I knew from the time I woke up this morning that looking at Monday night's setlist would only make me wish that I had quit my job and gone to all 6 nights in Chicago. Especially, after taking a 48 hour trip to Chicago from Vermont to catch the first two nights of Winterlude instead of feeling jealous I'm overwhelmed with the joy and not disappointment at how these shows simply continue to get better with each night. This is truly a magical period in the history of this band and its fans. I was able to share the first two nights with someone really specially to me, who I dragged along to the
  22. In the balcony are you able to stand without getting into the tired old stand up-sit down arguments? Thanks for the feedback!
