Hey Cub fans, Don't forget that there a small, insular, but vocal minority of Chicagoans who cheer for two teams; (1) the White Sox and (2) whomever is playing the Cubs. Not everyone in Chicago is "flying the W." Go Cardinals!

Arrieta has been unbelievable. That said, I can't give the MVP award to a guy who appeared in 32 or 33 games. Unless there are no worthy position players (and this season there are a handful), I honestly have a hard time giving the MVP to a starting pitcher.

That's kind of like asking Ron Harper to take the last shot when you've got Michael Jordan on the court! You could do it, but why bother?!
