Wow. Unlike a lot of people, I feel like I'm getting more tolerant and less judgmental as I get older. In spite of all the positive aspects of that review, I have to say that overall it was pretty negative and judgmental ... I guess I have to try to remember that reviewers aren't always as excited to see Wilco as I am!

I will have to check out Okemah for sure. I think I tried listening to it at the store when it came out, and was just not in the right mood for it. The opening act, Purling Hiss, sounded much, much better in Tampa. I am guessing that they had their own sound man, and he just couldn't adjust them to the outdoor venue. I don't know.
