  2. So I guess On And On And On is to Sky Blue Sky as Reservations was to YHF ... a mellow closer that some people love and some people don't. No big deal.
  3. Mr. Tambourine Man - The Byrds All Along The Watchtower - Hendrix Every Grain Of Sand - Emmylou Harris ...just for starters
  4. Nobody should get jumped on for sharing something with a group of people in any format if it's explained upfront what the format is. The thing to remember is that many traders do not want mp3 files of anything, so don't burn or torrent mp3 files and then trade them with somebody who wants only wav or flac or whatnot. But nobody's forcing anybody to click on that link, and jhh4321 says it's mp3, so there ya go.
  5. Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - One Size Fits All It's a desert island pick that's been at or near the top of my list for over 20 years. Epic, timeless, stunning, and has something for everybody, from jazz-rock to great vocal performances and some of Zappa's greatest guitar work.
  6. Wilcoworld says "Sky Blue Sky Probable Sequence," so apparently this isn't carved in stone just yet.
  7. I've resisted the temptation to check these out, too. I saw them do Walken live, and I've heard On and On and On once about a year ago, but that's it. Can't wait til it comes out.
  8. Some of my faves: John Fowles - The Magus, A Maggot, Daniel Martin, The French Lieutenant's Woman William Styron - Set This House On Fire, Sophie's Choice, Confessions of Nat Turner E. L. Doctorow - Book Of Daniel, Loon Lake, Waterworks, Billy Bathgate
  9. That's at the top of my list. The f**kers at my high school who chose that for our prom theme deserved to be shot (and they could have had Just Between You and Me by April Wine!). Good excuse to boycott the prom, though...

  12. There's a man walking round the island with a snake cane He picked it up in Thailand from a hurricane And you know he's not gonna go there He's been one time too long Now all the games are gone The younger boys are drowning in a shallow sea The night belongs to snipers in palm trees And their sabres flashed like lightning In the charge of the last brigade They must have been afraid Soldiers have their sorrow The wretched have their rage Pray for the aged It's the dawn of another age The blood's running down the blackboard on Pine Street The convicts shake the cages of a bad dream And th
  13. Yeah, how long did those fucking clowns from Nirvana play together? Oh, right, six years. Pfffffft.
  14. I get them for the JT contributions, though I have grown to like some of the other tracks, especially on Down By the Old Mainstream. Weird Tales, not so much (except for the Jeff songs). Another Fine Day, not much at all.
  15. I haven't seen The White Rapper ('cause I just hates the rap), but I have to admit that the I Love New York show is almost as funny as Flavor of Love. New York's mother was born to be on TV.
  16. Damn, someone always beats me to the punch.
  17. I really like Jeff and everything, but I don't want him poured on me.
  18. Grateful Dead - Loser Brian Eno - Third Uncle Uncle Tupelo - Screen Door Gerry Mulligan - I Guess I'll Have To Change My Plans The Who - Dancing In The Streets Janis Joplin - CooCoo Joni Mitchell - You Turn Me On, I'm A Radio Yeah, mine's pretty timid today too.
  19. I was thinking something like It was this big, I swear.
  20. See, I only have one, so I'm screwed. I co-write musicals with a gay guy, though, so that should count for something.
  21. Having low expectations sets me up for pleasant surprises and very few disappointments.
  22. I know it's homophobic of me to call a gay guy fudgepacker, but how about shitdick? I made that word up, and am very proud of it.
