  1. Considering the fact that the last three songs appear to be ... 14. Thunder On The Mountain 15. Like A Rolling Stone 16. All Along The Watchtower ... for every show, my answer would be "not really."
  2. I can only address the first question, but the answer is most likely "Yes." The band start with a predetermined setlist, but they sure don't always stick to it religiously, time limits or not. I've got one at home that has a bunch of "substitute" songs in a little box on the side, along with encores that weren't chosen (and at that show, they did a whole bunch of stuff not on the original setlist.)
  3. The main characters all get shot and die.
  4. I'd never sign up a complete stranger for porn (especially from work!), but I figured I'd get the party started here. I just signed him up for communications from www.unifying.com. He will now get email about the following areas of interest: Private Consultations Retreats & Workshops Lisa: Embody Essence Essence Awakening Your Light Body Power of Intentions/Thought Manifesting
  5. FZ - The Torture Never Stops Flies all green 'n buzzin' in his dungeon of despair Prisoners grumble and piss their clothes and scratch their matted hair A tiny light from a window hole a hundred yards away Is all they ever get to know about the regular life in the day; An' it stinks so bad the stones been chokin' 'N weepin' greenish drops In the room where the giant fire puffer works 'N the torture never stops The torture never stops Slime 'n rot, rats 'n snot 'n vomit on the floor Fifty ugly soldiers, man, holdin' spears by the iron door Knives 'n spikes 'n guns 'n the likes of every tool
  6. Well, I got the audio anyway. Pretty funny info.
  7. I've got 1200 kbps for a download speed and am running Windows XP, and I got nothing.
  8. Yeah! Totally forgot about that one. My wife and I weren't even familiar with the Chamillionaire song he's parodying, but we both cracked up during the video. I was trying to explain who he was, and the only example I could remember was "Eat It," his parody of Michael Jackson's song "Beat It." He used to be featured quite a bit on the Dr. Demento radio show (those were the days), and it's great to see him get some real numbers. He's a clever guy.
  9. There was a fairly lengthy feature about Jeff right around the time he got out of rehab, but neither he nor the band have made the cover.
  10. So I guess ten years from now, people will be comparing Wilco to Aerosmith and saying, "Wow, they were much better when there were drugs involved."
  11. What really shocked me was who killed Matt Damon. I was just like, "WTF?"
  12. Okay, people, I changed the header, so now you can ruin the movie by revealing the ending.
  13. I have no idea how to do that. All I see for Moderation Options is "Close this topic" and "Delete this topic." If somebody wants to post instructions for me on how to change or edit the header, I'll be happy to do it.
  14. Phil Ochs - No More Songs 10,000 Maniacs - Verdi Cries
  15. You're right. Maybe I should have approached that differently. I'd highly recommend Dog Days and Home Grown, as they show the band at its best. Tales of a Traveler is way different, and not in a good way. The songs on that album worked much better in a live context. For a shot of live BM (an unfortunate abbreviation, eh?), try Tonight It's Now or Never.
  16. Has anyone else on here seen this? I loved every second of Jack Nicholson in it, and the male leads (neither of whom are my favorite actors) both turn in commendable performances. It wasn't The Sopranos, but it will have to tide me over until next year.
  17. I would highly recommend Dog Days and Home Grown. If you don't like those, I doubt you'll like the rest.
  18. I've seen Wilco trot out some old material and the crowd reaction has been more or less . Examples in the past couple years have been (Was I) In Your Dreams, Forget the Flowers, Hesitating Beauty, Another Man's Done Gone, and even Via Chicago. It must make it hard for the band to figure out what the audience wants to hear, so that may explain why they seem to pretty much play what they want.
  19. Totally. There's a vast difference between the actions of 1) jumping onstage to dance and 2) putting your hands on the performer. The first is very presumptuous; the second is a potential assault. Any rational person would respond with fear and/or anger.
  20. Are there really ones like these? The ones I dream Float like leaves And freeze to spread skeleton wings I passed through before I knew you
  21. I've always been a much bigger fan of Jerry, but I'm surprised by this statement. What about Jack Straw, Throwin' Stones, the Lost Sailor>St. of Circumstance combo, Black Throated Wind, and Looks Like Rain? I'd rank those as high as pretty much any of Jerry's Grateful Dead tunes. Granted, Jerry was a much more prolific and talented musician, but the band without Bobby would have been just another Jerry Garcia band incarnation. I agree with Lammycat, he was a nice ying to Garcia's yang.
