  1. Well, we have totally derailed this thread talking about Florida, but screw it: the Houston show is over now, and people can talk about in the After the Show thread. I actually was at that St. Augustine show a couple years back, somewhere up in the 200s. I made a last minute decision to buy a ticket and drive up there because the show in Tampa two days earlier was so freaking hot, I had to have more. That is the farthest back I have ever been for a Wilco show. So yeah, you're right: you can still get tickets to these venues at the last minute, which is an overall bummer that nonetheless ben

  3. Don't feel too bad. Florida is not making a great show of it yet, either. I found out that the Tallahassee show will have "first come, first serve" free admission for local university students, so why should they buy a ticket? There are a minimum of 100 seats left, some as close as 6th row on the side. St. Augustine looks better as far as seats already sold (maybe around 2,300), but there are still tons of seats in the last upper tier, section 3. At least a few hundred, probably close to 1,000. I mean, I don't expect every show to be a sellout, but come on, Florida! We don't have to be a t

  5. Pretty sure I have yet to see any of the above songs in all my years of Wilco shows. So I'd be happy with any of those.
  6. That is a mighty fine lookin' setlist. I'll be happy if we get some similar ones in F-L-A.

  8. Yep. I've never been able to score a front row seat for a show (closest was 2nd row for Wilco in 2002), but I have been on the rail in GA shows. Probably the most "eventful" was the AmericanaramA show in Tampa, since I was in the front, leaning on the rail, for Bob Weir, MMJ, WIlco and then Bobby D.

  10. I have never been, but I have heard the stories about Rush shows...there must be a few young women with that 'deer in the headlights' look when they realize they are in a building with 16,000 men and only 5 other girls.
  11. Fixed it for you. We are talking about a Rush concert, after all.

  21. Bush/Walker...interesting. I had not even thought of that combo, for some reason. I suspect Hixter is whistling past the graveyard on this one...still coming to terms with the looming prospect of President Hillary. Understandable. But hey, look on the bright side: you get Big Bill back, too! Who else, other than the highly unpopular Dubya, has the experience of eight years in the White House? Obama ain't running again. Edit: one other point on Rubio http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/13/politics/marco-rubio-2016-elections-polling I know it's still very early...but if you can't even rate ahe
