  1. There's also the likeliness that Prince was just messing about. Would you really believe anything he says?
  2. Prince was too busy listening to Joni Mitchell to bother himself with the Beatles.
  3. I got some shit here: http://yezukabbage.blogspot.com/ Feel free to take what'cha want if'ya want.
  4. Nice - kinda ripping on the other dudes a bit much, but I like it, especially the last parts. "Just ask yourself every once in a while, "what would Prince do here?""
  5. Todd, when I saw this subject header, the first thing that popped into my mind was exactly what you posted. Wild.
  6. I've been catching The Office in syndication, and I'm surprised how enjoyable repeated viewings are. That said, I saw a great one last night that I hadn't seen before: "Is Hilary Swank hot?"
  7. It's weird, I used to (around the time of Achtung) think U2 should write soundtracks, because their music is so dramatic. But then came 'The Hands That Built America' and now this. I don't get it.

  13. Nice to see the love for Miami Vice in here! I am a fan.
  14. Toad The Wet Sprocket* *I don't care if it is an obscure Monty Python reference, it's a shitty name for a band.

Favorites-wise, it's a toss-up between The Music of Chance and Moon Palace. It's kind of befuddling that he's known for Timbuktu, which didn't really move me. I recommend the movie Smoke (and if you like that, its companion piece Blue In The Face, both of which he wrote or co-wrote). I haven't read a newer one of his since The Brooklyn Follies, which I read recently and didn't like. The last '
