Good one Onion. I really do need to suspend my disbelief watching The Office when I'm reminded that it's supposedly being shot for a documentary.

Sir Stewart replied to IRememberDBoon's topic in Someone Else's Song
So this is the new Dylan thread I guess? Just noticed this on boblinks: South Bend, Indiana Coveleski Stadium July 4, 2009 1. Yankee Doodle Dandy (Bob on guitar) (song by George M. Cohan) 2. Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 (Bob on guitar) 3. If You See Her, Say Hello (Bob on guitar then keyboard) 4. Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum (Bob on keyboard) 5. This Wheel's On Fire (Bob on keyboard) 6. It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) (Bob on keyboard) 7. Beyond The Horizon (Bob on keyboard) 8. Highway 61 Revisited (Bob on keyboard) 9. Just Like A Woman (Bob on keyboard) 10. Thunder On The -
New/Best Bob Dylan Video Ever??
Sir Stewart replied to IRememberDBoon's topic in Someone Else's Song
The 'Blood In My Eyes' video (on USA Night Flight I believe in '93) sparked an interest in 'current' Dylan for the first time in my Dylan life. -
Listening to the Let It Be...Naked version, it just hit me that Phil Spector rendered "The Long And Winding Road" so maudlin and over-the-top that EVEN PAUL MCCARTNEY DIDN'T LIKE IT.

I kind of wanted to get away with just throwing her name into the mix, but I'll come clean: Lucinda Williams' voice sounds bored, annoying, and full of shit to me. -

30 Rock shifted into overdrive and saved its season last night. It had been a while since I missed follow up lines due to laughing.

Whoops on me. I saw them in September - first stadium show I ever saw. And probably the last. Stadiums are for sports. -
Congrats! Pat signs his name like Paul McCartney.

Huh, I could've sworn the KISS dude in your avatar was in MMJ. Who is it?

You call people names and attack them, which is why I think he called for your being banned. Personally, I think of you as that dude who loves to party a lot and probably fell on his head as an infant before his skull had a chance to close up, and so I would not like to see you banned. -

But, according to auctioneer, they didn't connect, and 'it' wasn't there. -

I recall after the premiere of "Free As A Bird" on the ABC Beatles Anthology broadcast, sitting back and thinking 'Fucking Jeff Lynne.' -
Either way, I was surprised to learn in a sidebar that John Mayer is one of America's Most Wanted.

I don't really know anything about this artist (found a link to the site on a web design blog) other than apparently it's an Orba Squara song behind the 'apps' iPhone ads (so, minus one there). The music isn't really grabbing me in an "I need to hear more of this" way, but as accompaniment to the ersatz tour diary that is the Orba Squara website, it works wonderfully. I searched the forum, couldn't find a mention, so, new thread. I just think it's a fantastic website, and worth some attention (I'm up to Day 4): http://www.orbasquara.com/

No, it's not. I just have little experience with one and none with the other.

OK. But, PC and AOL? I'm out. Hopefully someone will have some experience here...

I recommend the hell out this movie: Flow. I've never looked at any source of bottled water the same since seeing it.
