  1. Honestly? For me the list goes AM and then a bunch of other studio albums.
  2. Ahh, I recall that, sort of. Thanks. For a short while when that re-release was announced, there was talk in the news that a never-before-heard Beatles song had surfaced. I remember one media outlet referring to it as a "rocker." The excitement turned into a WTF though, when it was revealed as "Hey Bulldog." I still don't get who dropped the ball back then, the media or Apple Corps.
  3. I must admit, there are some really valid arguments here, but I've been listening to SBS a lot lately, feeling out its chronological relationship to the other studio releases. It's weird, if this thread had been created six months ago, I would've left SBS off the list completely. And AGIB (of all albums) would be the nearest to the present on the list. What a crazy world. Anyway, I think I'm ready to reveal my list : AM BT ST YHF AGIB SBS
  4. To the haters, I would like to add that while I love this album, it's not like I'm reading your disappointed posts and thinking you're all insane. It's not hard to listen to this album and understand why it's rubbing some (even diehards) the wrong way. The sound, the feel, the mood, can all be interpreted/heard as lacking effort or inspiration. Those same elements are also touching people, including myself, very deeply. It will probably end up their most polarizing album. Fine. Let's get over it and stop calling each other crazy.
  5. That's all c66's then? A twice in a lifetime event: homemade fried chicken.
  6. Not a Boston fan so much, but I saw him play with his Beatles cover band (BeatleJuice) a couple of years back, which was a blast. His voice was still killer diller. And he hung out, sitting, talking to people between sets, signing a couple of autographs. Struck me as a nice guy, like the Web site states.
  7. C'mon, the Bay City Rollers were pretty good, but they weren't that good!
  8. You couldn't be more annoying and vague.
  9. I don't think it is. I'd like to see a good quality version of that someday.
  10. You would think everything Beatle-related is online by now. But apparently not. This wasn't in the Anthology, to my recollection. Dig John's muttonchops.
  11. It's got a 'Here Comes the Sun' feel to it, thematically.
  12. I must've watched that at least 400 times on Christmas Day 1987. Or was it 86....
  13. 1999 -- I wonder what they attached this to then? A TV special?
  14. "If Wilco never made a record nothing would have changed about rock/pop."
  15. You know, you don't have to stay here.
  16. They're alright, but they should lose that singer.
