  1. Fred Armisen for Squiggy. Jason Sudeikis for Lenny. My choices. It took me a good 15 minutes.
  2. "Laverne & Shirley’ is reportedly set to hit the big screen, and will star Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel, based on a script written by Jamie Foxx. The show’s producer, Garry Marshall, confirmed to TV Guide at the 18th Annual Night At Sardi’s Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s that the movie version of the hit show is in the works. The director of last month’s number-one box office hit ‘Valentine’s Day’ said Foxx, who appeared in the ensemble cast of that movie, felt his co-stars Garner and Biel were just like the TV characters. Rumors about the big-screen adaptation first began swirling durin
  3. I'd love it if Wilco played Not For The Season (Laminated Cat) last in the "acoustic" set and switch to electric for the big finish with Nels and Jeff on electric guitar.
  4. I assume that it's actually I'm The Man Who Loves You since it's in that spot after Hate It Here & Walken. An AMAZING 3 shows so fart. (error left in for fun)
  5. NBC Official Site So it looks like David Lynch is going to be on Carson Daly Friday night. Check your local listings. I know that he's doing his interview project through his website. He's probably going to talk about that and other things like Big Boy burgers.
  6. I would say go by whoever is best available at that time. My friend got me to join his league with 8 of his engineering buddies at work. I ended up drafting 8th and I saw that Joe Mauer © wasn't snagged, so I grabbed him because he is one of the best catchers out there (obviously) and once someone grabs him there's slim pickens for an amazing catcher. I'm very proud of my selections. My 2nd pick was Roy Halladay! I can't believe he didn't get picked! See on my draft the 10th pick also went again 11th etc. so I got to pick 13th. My team Frank Drebin's Squad ( ) FWIW: (in draft order)
  7. Has anyone seen that ad where Michael Scott says the words "date night"? I think it's for this week's Office episode. It clearly seems like it's also trying to advertise for Date Night (his movie with Tina Fey). Or at least to get people to mention it on a message board to see if anyone else noticed it. I also noticed Erin on an old medication commercial. Not sure exactly what it was for?
  8. Isn't there a lot of ash? Does this mean that Jacob has died before in several different timelines? Remember Ilana picks up Jacob's ashes and we are to assume that this is what keeps out the Smoke Monster/MIB. If the ashes before Jacob's death aren't his from a previous life then whose are they? Are they the ashes of American flags?
  9. What if it happened 2 different ways in different loops of a timeline? Remember what Jacob and MIB said "It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress." Meaning what we saw last night really happened and in The Incident the ship also eventually made it to the Island.
  10. Yeah, the point of my post was in humor. I guess in my mind my joke was that the band are on their tour bus going from city to city and going on Mikael's laptop looking up concert photos of themselves and Jeff coming across this one and going "I look/ed like that?!" I do think that the photo you took is amazingly beautiful and horrific at the same time. There's something about the purple background that adds to Jeff's stare into the camera.
  11. I think this is the sole reason for the "new" policy.
  12. Maybe whoever bodies they took over came from the modern times? How's that for a time loop mind fuck shit sandwich brought to you by Mennen? Much like MIB now looks like Locke and talks like Locke, I'm sure that whoever they took over is who we know MIB & Jacob as. I'm not sure if we'll ever see their true nature on the show. Edit: OOH Yeah...RE: The Cork: Does that mean that in the Alt Timeline that the cork "popped" off and that's why it is under water? Discuss. RE: Accents on the screen: The Biggest Offender of the last decade was Troy. Here was a movie set in Ancient Greece an
  13. A little something to munch on: Over the course of the Canary Islands' history, people claimed to have seen a vanishing and reappearing eighth island. So there you go, the number 8, and a mysterious island. Oh, and the Canary Islands were the location of a famous plane crash in 1977, the year of the Incident in the Lost universe. Thanks to Lostpedia for the info. RE: Jacob and his easy to leave The Island ways: One question that my best friend and I came up with was "how could Jacob leave the Island and let MIB stay there while he was gone?" Was he like "hey, bro...I'm going out for some

  15. Word of the wise: DO NOT MISS TONIGHT'S EPISODE IT WILL NOT BE REPEATED NEXT WEEK LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN DOING!!! DVR it. DVD R it. It runs until 10:06, so that obviously sounds doubtful to put into an 8-9 time slot next week. There'd be no commercials. Enjoy!
  16. :worship :worship :worship Wow! I can't wait for Boston & Concord (so glad I'm going to 2 shows!) Is it safe to assume that Spiders was done in the Jeff solo arrangement?
  17. A pretty big left curve ball of a spoiler:

    Miami Show

According to my Wilco "official" (i think it's official?) Facebook group: Less than 40 tickets remain for tonight's show.

What I meant to say was "I assume that every show will be similar in prompt start time for their specific show start time like yours for 8:30." From the looks of the press release it sounds like they want people in their seats because the band wants to make the most of their time in each venue since there's no opening acts on this tour. I can't wait to see what happens tonight.

  21. An evening with WILCO at CAPITOL CENTER FOR THE ARTS on APRIL 7 Critically acclaimed rock band WILCO will perform at Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH on Wednesday, April 7 at 8:00 pm. Wilco clings to the grit of the independent scene while continuing to morph and innovate, releasing a series of chart-topping albums and drawing sell-out crowds. The Boston Globe calls their performances a “pitch-perfect tangle of earthy comforts and perilous adventure…from the planet’s most radical roots band.” Wilco’s latest studio album, the Grammy-nominated Wilco (The Album) landed on many cri

I downloaded a .doc press release for the Concord,NH show and the thing that obviously stuck out the most was the wording "Doors open at 7p.m. with the show beginning promptly at 8p.m." Edit: I assume that every show will be similar in prompt start time for their specific show start time like yours for 8:30. You have been warned. 23. While working at the movie theater I sold tickets to Triple H & Chyna and David J from Bauhaus and Love & Rockets. (someone told me that he lives in a small town in MA) I shared the same restroom and sink as Uncle Frank from the Jimmy Kimmel Show while waiting for said show to begin filming.
  24. That's why I'm cold towards it. I'd much rather prefer something live. I missed the opportunity like I said when they did the Zoo TV & Vertigo Tour live cds through the fanclub a few years ago. It was on their "off" tour years and I tend to rejoin when they come around which seems to be every U.S. election year. I rarely listened to the Melon remix cd from a decade or 2 ago. Edit: Actually I forgot about the 2 cd set of rarities. That was nice.
