Finally got my Boston Orpheum ticket today. It's the size of a Hershey bar. No lie. It's never going to fit into my wallet or pants.

Have you been plugging into my thoughts and my life? lol Ironically though I wasn't a member when U2 had the live cds which pissed me off. I always wanted a professional Zoo TV From Syndey cd. My bootleg sounds amazing but you can tell it's from a radio broadcast. Then the other live cd was from the Vertigo tour I think. FWIW, U2's opening acts for this year's tour: Lenny Kravitz - Salt Lake City, Anaheim I, Anaheim II, Denver The Fray - Oakland, Seattle, Edmonton Interpol - Minneapolis, East Lansing, Toronto, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia

I'm a bit upset that the prices for the Boston Garden show are at a flat rate of 74.50. The part that makes me upset is that I only keep pulling balcony seats. Pessimism reared its ugly head into mine and I started thinking to myself "well...I've seen them tons of times...I'm not paying 85 (w/fees) to just hear songs from Backspacer." and sit way up and way back. I was up in the balcony twice in 2006 and it was awful the 1st night (behind the stage. steep as all hell. lousy sound) & not bad the 2nd night (mid court. sound was a bit better. still last row.) It's ok. I don't feel too ba

Wow! That's just what I was looking for Bono. An album that's thrown in to make up for an overpriced fanclub. A remix album to be more precise. A remix album that will be played once and then followed by a shrug of the shoulders and a placing of the remix album onto a pile of Pearl Jam Xmas singles that I never play. Luckily, I don't belong to the U2 fanclub anymore. I'd prefer a dvd of rehearsal footage for the 360 tour. I know that the Pasadena Bowl show won't be coming on dvd until the tour is finished.

My best friend had 2 lecture hall classes at Purdue with Drew Brees. Same best friend is 2nd cousins with Enrique Iglesias. I didn't realize that that dude was part Filipino? Another close friend of mine held the door open for Tom Cruise (who was exiting) at a Woburn Starbucks last September when he was in town to shoot Knight & Day (in theaters June 25 ) Another close friend of mine is a manager at a suburb of Boston's AMC movie theater. He has had private screenings for several members of the Celtics after hours. He has sold Icees to Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Glenn Davis, &

Yeah, he was caught sniffing the foul lines on the grass during ground ball runs with the infielders. Such a shame.

Not yet. But I really hope that they are different tracks from what is on Kicking Television. (No shit!) Unless if they have stuff like Misunderstood with the horns. Also, it would be nice if these 8 bonus tracks were not somehow included on the Ashes Bonus mp3's. Meaning I would rather have something like Pieholden Suite as opposed to War On War which was on the Ashes Bonus mp3's (or what was on the actual DVD) PS I'm betting Theologians is on there. My mother's maiden name is Sevigny and she's from MA. She has relatives that she doesn't really know out of Springfield, MA which is where Chloe Sevigny is from. So my (allegedly) 2nd cousin is famous for giving some asshole director a blowjob on film and in the final print and got hell from Roger Ebert. You don't have to tell me that that sucks.

Ok! I guess I'll post a picture of what my spoiler was referring to: (click at your own risk)

If you don't click on that button the world will end in 108 minutes!

Maybe he brought an ebay purchased theatrical print of this: Wait a minute! Who am I kidding here?! (laughs like Doc Brown in the mall parking lot scene) It's obvious that he bought the print at the auction where he bought the Black Rock Journal. This will be shown in an upcoming episode. Wow, reading about Ishtar (the actual god is interesting)

Oh yeah!? Does anyone think of the following every time they show Claire's fake baby? RE: What's (or who ) That Locked Up On Widmore's Sub?

RE: Knowing What Episode To Use or How The Daily Show Does It Well, a friend of mine worked on The Daily Show as an intern for 3 months and I never asked him what he did. But my guess would be that the 15 interns watch all of the news shows etc and make notes and log it. Little House On The Prairie: It's possible that there's a really big fan on there. Or they typed in a particular portion of dialog that we saw on last's night episode into Google and found the episode through that. Also, did you notice that the 3 books that Sawyer had on his night stand were all books that he read on the

Very interesting that you wrote that. I remember a scene in Season 1 where they're going through the luggage and there's no combs or brushes anywhere. The big theory back then was that they were being manipulated via brain waves through some electronic device and by combing their hair it would create static electricity which would of course cause some interference or damage. So it is still kind of a mystery why someone from the Dharma Initiative came out to the beach and took all of the combs (allegedly). CONSIDERING the fact that almost all of the main cast has had different haircuts/dos

A really amazing episode yet again. Does anyone else not feel the need to "over" analyze the episodes after the LA X premiere? I'm assuming we'll gain more insight into the Flash Sideways once the Finale comes and goes. Also, a sexy episode too. Rebecca Mader looked and so did Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (the other one in Sawyer's bed ) I think Sawyer has a pretty good thing going with having sex with the women of Lost: Ana Lucia, Kate, Juliet, Ava, & Charlotte in the SIDEWAYS reality.

Here's a legit indie record store to order from if you can't find one within your local town etc. Bull Moose Records Analogman has an interesting story about ordering a Fleetwood Mac cd. I'd gladly pick it up for someone, but at that price it enters sketchy territory for both parties.

Not sure what you mean by that? My point was how can you meet anyone or network with if they won't open up a simple dialog with you on the internet. They are merely strangers taking the same online class as you are. If everyone acted in every class like this in college people wouldn't know Jack from Diane. To Lammycat: People liked the comfort of knowing a few people in case if they had questions about the material. A safety net if you will. This safety net was present in the face-to-face classes because people were willing to get to know each other and bond. Certain people had strengths
-
Not sure how that holds true if the "cyber" person never even wants to respond back to any emails. See from what I heard people left the online area after the teacher set forth the assignment and asked "If anyone had any questions" to which people would reply with questions and that teacher would respond to one then would leave the chat room. Peers that I knew that did both online and regular face-to-face classes at the Graduate level felt this way: they hated it and wished to change/or get out of their online classes. Their main gripe was never getting ahold of their "electronic" peers. The

I've heard the opposite. And this was also in Master's classes. Most complaints I've heard are about what you are ok with. People are upset that they didn't know who was in their class to form study groups with or to ask someone in their class a question or even a teacher. People have told me that the teacher is like The Wizard in the Wizard Of Oz. They come in and assign homework and then field one question and then leave. This was one school, but I'm not entirely sold on online classes. Not to mention: Never meeting your peers how can you network?

To further color my point I will add my own recent experience and then choose to apply that to something in a high school environment. I was at a recent Oscar party with 16 people total. It was very hard to get any word in or for that matter to converse with one person out of 16 or with all 16 people via a comment made by one. It was this big cacophony of noise (these are the "personal distractions" that I was referring to). After a few comments that went unnoticed I decided to not talk again because I was discouraged that no one could hear anyone. High School Cafeteria: A table of 10 or
-
Well, from a kid's point of view you are sending out a message to 10 people at the same time through a cellphone. Talk about an ego trip. In other words: you are sending out your thoughts to 10 different people who will be reading them without any personal distractions as in real conversation. It's like always "holding the floor" which may impair a kid's communication skills in the real world without a cellphone to use. And then you are waiting to hear from those 10 people. And the cycle goes on. RE: the "Paper" situation: Paper is a physical piece of evidence that teachers probably keep
-
Yes. You can reach a wider audience with your cellphone. Or you can send out a mass text to all of your friends in the class and even those still sitting in the cafeteria. I'll agree the intent is the same, but the means of communication via technology is staggeringly different. And sneakier too. Teachers don't have to look around for kids passing post it notes around, now they have to look for whoever has their head down and their arms hidden. And it makes it a bit uncomfortable for the teacher to ask who the kid was sending the text to without checking the cellphone which is technically the

I would add into the mix that our children (or younger generation) are having more distractions and albeit confusing ones. How many reality shows out there are geared towards a high school demographic (or sometimes younger)? There's a show on MTV called 16 & Pregnant and if you get pregnant at 16 and send MTV a letter they will come to your house and film you for 6 months and voila you'll be on television. And if MTV likes you enough they'll come back for more and do a show called Teen Mom. Add to that the likes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Something Wild, Jersey Shore, The Hills
