  1. Who is to say that there wasn't a Gap then? There's certainly a gap in the logic I might add and I just did.
  2. Wow. I came in here and it sounds like WEEI (local a.m. Boston station). No need to hit the panic button, folks! Didn't the Yankees drop 8 in a row to the Red Sox last year before the All Star Break? They turned out ok? Although, I do think that Ortiz, Lowell, & Varitek will be gone at year's end. If not 2 of the 3 gone by July. And Bill Hall will be disposed of in mystic river by Sean Penn and his henchmen. Actually, the Sox should be 0-8 in this opening homestand. The opening night game was handed to them on that wild pitch from the Yankees' Octavio Dotel or Damaso Marte (?? t
  3. Seriously! I didn't listen to the whole recording yet, but I jumped around and kept hearing some guy yapping away. Hopefully, it's not a friend of the tapers. I highly doubt it. Most Ridiculously Timed Quote Of The Night: "Hey, did I tell you that I saw Furthur last weekend?!" So let's put this into perspective: He could have waited for the pre beer time or until the parking lot to tell his friend this. Do you think this guy is at a Drive By Truckers show telling his other friend "Hey, did I tell you that I saw Wilco last week?" Time & a place folks.
  4. As far as I know there was no Bonus CD with the Special Limited Edition Vinyl (8 LPs). Official Site Link w/details Yeah, it only came with a fold out commemorative poster.
  5. Wild At Heart is doing the rounds on that Encore Mystery channel this month. It was on last night in the early a.m.
  6. Wow!!! What a fucked up story I have for you folks. So I went to Bull Moose Records today in Salem, NH. I went to Newbury Comics last night (just realized last minute that they indeed take part in Record Store Day). Anyways, I asked the hipster gentleman if they had any copies of Kicking Television on vinyl out back, since I hadn't seen any. He told me "Whoa! Have I got a story for you!" I didn't know what he was going to go on about, but it kind of blew me away. "We had several copies, but in fact we had this one guy who walked out of the store with it and $50 of merchandise that he thoug

  8. She's simply awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkXV5O5GfJ8 I figured I'd help get the ball rolling. It's all downhill from here.
  9. For me Mulholland Drive is his strongest film and masterpiece. I recently rewatched this earlier this year to kind of go back and rewatch some films of the 00s. Let's just say that there's a reason I picked Mulholland Drive first and then kind of stopped there. I love both Wild At Heart and Lost Highway. I really enjoyed Inland Empire. Although, I have only seen it once. That and Eraserhead are in the same Lynch boat where I really don't want to take the trip to watch them. Eraserhead is a lot more abstractly disturbing. I've never seen The Straight Story, but that one came out in 1999. I
  10. Yes. Or it could be the kid that played a young Anakin Skywalker from Episode I who was frozen in carbonite by George Lucas for use by Lost. Hmm. I only recall seeing the blonde haired boy. I don't recall any kid with dark hair.
  11. Well, she sounds like she may be a double agent working for Drive By Truckers, Son Volt or Ryan Adams. Be careful.
  12. Did you ask her "Hey, how is it going?" Inside joke. Somewhere on here you'll find what I refer to. But I'm happy for you. Although, I wouldn't call her a "chick".
  13. I really like (warming up to) Jeremy Hermida as a player on the Red Sox. A lot of the local papers (read: Boston Globe) said great things about his bat when he was traded here. So far so good. I hope that they put him in as DH when Jacoby Ellsbury comes back. I really don't want to see them use Hermida as trade bait. I honestly feel that he's kind of like the new "Ortiz". They got him in a steal via the Marlins. His bases clearing double today was well needed at the right time. And I can now say this for the 1st time publicly: "I have Jeremy Hermida on my Fantasy Team." Frank Drebin's

  15. It looks like KFC has the real Weapons Of Mass Destruction: Keep America distracted by their new iPads.
  16. Jeff played Gun at the solo show that he did in Northampton, MA in Nov 2005 (because all of Wilco has a love affair with MA). I am pretty sure that Three Dollars And Sixty Three Cents on this board yelled out for that and Jeff heard it because we were sitting in the 2nd row.
  17. I think a better question that you should be asking is what are the similarities between Libby & Charlie (from last week's episode)? They're both dead in the Original Timeline. It's possible that because of this their consciousness from that timeline has seeped into their Flash Sideways' minds. (edit:) Now with that in mind, it does lend some light to Desmond's actions toward Locke in the Flash Sideways. Maybe if John Locke passes onto the Island in the sun, MIB will need to find some new real estate.
  18. Cinematical News Link Like many of us, Stanley Kubrick was something of a pack rat, and not overly fond of organization. So it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that, amid the reportedly chaotic hodge-podge of the director's effects, undiscovered treasures are buried. One such treasure: a single copy of a film treatment titled Lunatic at Large, written in the late 1950's by the briliiant pulp author Jim Thompson at Kubrick's behest. And now that film is finally being produced, with Production Weekly reporting that Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansson are attached. As reported in the
  19. It looks like Keith Urban on Tuesday. And Sheryl Crow on Wednesday.
  20. I loved the closing juxtaposition of MIB/Desmond & Desmond/Locke in the Flash Sideways. It makes me wonder if Flash Sideways Desmond thinks that Locke is actually the MIB and not actually John Locke. Talk about mistaken identity! Unless, if he needs to kill the Flash Sideways Locke, so that the Original Locke can come back at the end of the series. But that doesn't make sense either. It seems like he's ruining it for the MIB. (edit: Perhaps If there's no Flash Sideways Locke to convince to come back to the Island, then the MIB needs to find someone similar to him to find "The Loophole".)
  21. HOLY SHIT This Sounds Amazing! (edit: Definitely the best webcast that I've heard. Ironic, since I was at this and Concord.) WOW! (now the wait for Concord ) A great memento of this amazing show that I was fortunate enough to have seen, heard and experienced.
