If that's the WS matchup, I'm guessing that Tim McCarver will comment on the fact that the two franchises both hold their league record for losses in a season at least 10-15 times per game. He will also claim that Dave Dombrowski and Jim Leyland have turned the Tigers around "beautily".

I haven't listened to them in some time, but if they released a new record relatively soon, I would still buy it the day it came out. But my interest is gradually waning....seriously, they need to get on with it already.

She's a grieving mother who happens to also be a little crazy. I really don't understand why people get so worked up about her. She's very well-intentioned, but without the abilities, resources or focus to make any sort of real impact. There are a million people just like her all over the place, it just so happens that her futile efforts followed a path that the press ate up.

I would chime in with the Arcade Fire, but they need to hurry the fuck up with a new album already before I lose interest.

Demetri Martin is touring to promote his new CD. After he's done with that, I'm guessing that Trendspotting will be back. John Oliver, and the other British guy who does Poll Smoking are okay. Not great, but good enough to hold them over for a while. Demetri Martin and John Hodgman are by far the best ones now though, and they're both on only rarely.

Missed the first 6 and a half because of band practice. I'm glad I didn't miss the whole thing. Looks like my boys are rolling tonight!

There was a moment of silence for Buck before the Tigers/Yanks game tonight. One jackass in my section yelled "Go Tigers" or something right at the beginning of it, but was silenced right quick by those around him. For the most part everyone seemed to recognize how special of a guy he was and how big he was for baseball.
