No, not really. Yeah, the local teams get more coverage than others, but every time the Yankees and Red Sox play each other, it's still plastered all over ESPN here as much as it is in New York.

I don't disagree with that at all. But the side of the debate that is always jumping to label everything as 'socialism' are not differentiating between the two at all. Tweedling there thinks that anything the government provides is socialism and that anyone who cannot provide for themselves is lazy. That's just false.

I think you're missing the point. Some things are not available for everybody to just go out and get for themselves.
