  1. Aye! Oh wait, I have to work the next day. I'm doing well, Johnny...just super busy, unfortunately. How are you? Congrats on selling more paintings! I was going to try to make it to the Indy show too, but I missed all the sales. I may settle for some bad seats if I get to see them 2 nights in a row.
  2. Wish us luck today...it looks like a lot of great seats were sold during the presale!
  3. (Assuming today's sale goes well, anyway).
  4. Some of these songs get stuck in my head for days on end.
  5. Yeah...it's easier to see in this picture: http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=249074070&size=o
  6. This one? Apparently it's a "lawsuit" Ibanez SG.
  7. Sorry, that was just the criminal defense attorney coming out in me. Still, I don't think it's fair to assume that because Jeff didn't say anything, it must have been true. Maybe he just didn't feel the need to perpetuate a feud between him and Jay, and didn't want to talk publicly about private stuff that happened between them. Or maybe he thought it was so ridiculous, it didn't deserve a response. I guess we'll never know for sure.
  8. Some lyrics from each song have been posted (along with the word search solution): http://www.whitestripes.com/puzzle/ Now I'm even more excited!
  9. A little more info from Rolling Stone: A new Raconteurs album, to boot!
  10. If the walls in the room could talk I wonder to myself would they laugh It's like some kind of jail Beams of light Fall from the curtains onto the bed I'm all alone now; I can do as I please I don't feel like doing much of anything True love ain't that hard to find Not that you will ever know Would you leave for awhile? Please do not let me go Please do not let me go You were sweet enough to sing Oblivious to melody Red suitcase full of clothes Washed up on a shore of memories I'm all alone now and I feel just fine I don't feel much like doing anything True love ain't that hard to find No

  12. Oh, awesome...that's good to hear. I can't wait for May to get here.
  13. I've listened to Neon Bible a hell of a lot over the past few days, and I really love it. The only song I'm not really into is The Well and the Lighthouse, but overall I think it's a great followup to Funeral. And Chris, you should definitely try to make it to the Atlanta show.
  14. It's the scream that ruins it.
  15. I've got Georgetown going all the way, beating Kansas in the Finals.
  16. The only one I can remember walking out on was VHS or Beta, in Lexington a couple years ago. I'm not that into them anyway, but to make matters worse they were having some technical difficulties and could barely make it through one song at a time without having to stop and make some sort of adjustments. I don't blame them for that, but I do blame them for their music. I fell asleep at a Tina Turner concert when I was about 7, and I don't think it's happened since.
  17. The White Stripes announce their first European festival appearances at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park Festivals in Germany, June 1st and 2nd. Check out the following websites for full information on the festivals: Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park.
