  1. My schedule is all over the place, but I'd probably be able to swing something if it's during the day. I want to, but I don't think that draft time will work for me. If only I were in charge...
  2. I'm sure it was tough work, but someone had to do it...
  3. On one hand I'm like, "Only 44 days!" On the other hand, I'm like, "Damn, that's a long time." I love baseball, but God, do I hate MLB.
  4. A very belated thanks for the great info, even though I ended up in the burbs, out near Perry Hall/White Marsh. I really wanted to live in Fells Point, but parking was dicey at every apartment I looked at (I work pretty late, so I didn't want to have to park blocks away).
  5. Thanks for the suggestions, guys. quarter: I'm moving there for a job (it's not too far from Camden Yards). I'd prefer something close to work, but I'd be willing to live outside the city if I could find something good for a good price.
  6. My main concern is finding a place to live. Is there anyplace I shouldn't even bother looking? Any cool neighborhoods? Other thoughts are welcome, too.
  7. For the last day I haven't been able to stop singing, "Statue of Liberty play/It only works once/Don't throw it away."

  9. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2661928 Ugh. I have so little; now I can't even continue to make fun of the Angels for their ridiculous name because my team will have one, too.
  10. Rookies of the year: Justin Verlander and Hanley Ramirez. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp
  11. I'm happy for him, but I wish he'd gotten the opportunity to manage the A's instead. It was so weird seeing him in that Rangers jersey.
  12. Wow. That makes me realize that Christmastime is coming up pretty soon. Where does the year go?
  13. Lucky! I won't be expecting all that tonight, but I'm still pretty excited to be seeing them.
  14. And you've gotta love it when they reduce the game to a little box on your TV because they are showing a pointless interview or one of those goofy player profiles.
  15. Drive-By Truckers (The Dirty South, Decoration Day) Devendra Banhart (Nino Rojo, Cripple Crow) Ryan Adams (Jacksonville City Nights) Low (The Great Destroyer) Neko Case (Blacklisted) Jenny Lewis (Rabbit Fur Coat)
  16. I did love the show! Turns out my friend was able to give me a ride home, even though he could not go to the concert.

  18. Thanks for the info, guys. Hodie, I'll be going back to my friend's place. I don't know his address offhand, but I think he lives in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
