Rich Harden seems fully healthy to me (knocks on wood). He looks good velocity-wise and movement-wise but is still a tad rusty with his command (but that is not surprising considering he's pitched just eight real innings since June 4).

That picture makes me excited for winter.

That Dodgers-Padres game was crazy. The Dodgers hit four consecutive homers to tie it in the bottom of the ninth, but the Padres went ahead in the 10th. Then Nomar won it with a two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th. Games like that make me love baseball even more.

$15 is worth it just for Drive-By Truckers. They kick so much ass live. I went to their New Year's Eve show in New York a couple of years ago just because I was in town anyway to see Wilco at Madison Square Garden. It turned out to be one of the best concerts I've been to. I hadn't heard any of their songs before that show, but I loved it so much that I bought The Dirty South and some of their other stuff. (Plus I'm seeing them twice on this tour!) You should definitely go.

If the people who've been impersonating A's starting pitchers for the last week could go away and bring the real guys back, that would be great. In the five starts before Sunday's game, they had a 10.17 ERA and Zito didn't help matters Sunday. I really hope the front office can get something worked out with him for next season.
