Kelly Clarkson was not a guilty pleasure - this is:

It's actually too easy. Just find the YouTube page and insert the url for it. Nothing else. Like this:

No shame here. How about this:

and Dwight Twilly is following me on twitter. No idea how he found me. And I'm not following him?

Or The Wild, The Innocent and E Street Shuffle. Or Born To Run. After these, and the above mentioned, you could consider Ghost of Tom Joad, The Rising, and Devils and Dust....

Seconded

People over at BTX are whining that it's Tuesday today. All the songs were written around the same time for the same record so it makes some sense that they hold up as an album. What I find really remarkable is that Tracks has already been released and he had this much stuff of this calibre in the can.

Three Sisters is what I drink French Press is how I prepare it. A Bodum actually. Love it.

At home it's normally the Three Sisters blend of Kicking Horse. Once I get to work, it's tea. On the road, I always need Tim Horton's, extra large, two cream. I think they add heroin and/or nicotine because it is very addictive.

Sorry; that's all I've got. There was a listening event in Toronto yesterday. Somebody from another board shook Springsteen's hand and spoke to Landau a bit. Landau told him there was a listening event today in Atlanta. Where do the Sony types hang out in Atlanta? In Toronto it was at an italian restaurant.
-
Nope. Once national media set up on the sidewalk outside the venue, the secret aspect is sort of lost. From what I hear, the Horseshoe never really expected him to show but it sure helped sell Jesse Malin tickets. Secret listening party today in Atlanta though.

Yeah, even though I didn't actually get a copy, thanks for the heads up. I tried to order here at work but we have an old version of Explorer and I couldn't finalize the sale. I tried to contact the office directly by phone and email but by the time I got through, they were sold out. It was kinda funny though - they were really suprised about the sudden flurry of sales and trying to figure out what triggered it. I didn't think I should tell them it was a Wilco board - they might not have sent any :-)

I will probably do the same but I'm a little ticked on this one. First, it's too bad there wasn't an option that combined the audio on vinyl with the DVDs - it appears there won't be. I guess it would be difficult to package that. Even worse, I'm seeing the vinyl only at $120 - for 4 discs, that's pretty steep.
-
This presale is blocked here at work so you can look yourself but I'm hearing $115, which includes a t shirt. I'm also hearing there are vinyl versions of the audio stuff.

I always liked the way Jason and the Scorchers did Absolutely Sweet Marie. I wouldn't recognize Jason or a Scorcher if I ran into one on the stree though.

I saw him earlier this summer at the Ottawa Jazz Festival and he was really really good. A joyous performer, at least that night.

Why Doesn't Anyone Listen to the Kinks?
bobfrombob replied to Big Perm's topic in Someone Else's Song
Some of those concept albums were reallly under-appreciated. I played the crap out of Schoolboys and Soap Opera. -
He's always holding out on us. That said, you can get a pretty good idea of what the album will sound like simply from YouTube.
