  1. The Nonesuch site doesn't seem to have anything on it but the fact it is being released on Record Store Day would strongly suggest there will be vinyl, but if it's a RSD-thing, they probably won't be doing preorders.
  2. The only solo thing I've heard is Let Freedom Ring and it's quite fine.

  4. The setlist won't change much in the beginning but there will also be a lot of pressure on those folks to learn all the material. By the time the (unannounced but inevitable) fall and winter dates in North America roll around, they will be changing it up as much as Bruce ever does (which is normally about 30% or so per night by the end of a tour)
  5. I have no idea who owns the rights to this stuff and who profits (or even how much say Billy has in any of it) but I think they pressed 5000 copies of Kicking Television for RSD at $60 or $70 a crack. Depending on your cut, that could be some serious money. Anyway, I have no real opinion on how they do it, just make sure you do it on vinyl.
  6. I'm hoping for vinyl too. I would quibble a bit with the above though - although the Wilco-related RSD stuff has not been in any way cheap, it has been fairly readily available. At least compared to other releases.
  7. In addition to those already mentioned: - John K Samson solo - Craig Finn solo - Wooden Sky
  8. Yeah, I was expecting a collection of "everything" - volumes I and II and possibly some new outtakes. In fact, since none of what crack in the road says looks too definitive, that's still what I'm expecting
  9. You might find some of the info here helpful: http://vinylcollective.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=53959
  10. In your case, this is "sticking it to the fans". But in most cases, this is a way to make it harder for scalpers. Which is a good thing. And which is why they told you at Frontgatge there was no way to change the names on the tickets. Because scalpers will call Frontgate and tell the exact same story. I would call Frontgate again and speak to a manager. Of course there is a way to change the name on the ticket - it's 2011. Just because the person you spoke to didn't have the authority to do it, doesn't mean it can't be done. Give it another try. Good luck.
  11. It's still an insane price but they did include the shipping in that $60....
  12. Got one Haven't opened it yet to see if I got a poster sticker.
  13. NEVER give up for at least 15 minutes and better to hang in for 30 minutes. People get tickets in their carts and mess up orders, credit cards get declined, computers crash. You never know.
  14. Anybody looking for a "Childlike and Evergreen"? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160667897419&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:CA:1123
  15. Your signature pic is also on my desktop at work now. Somebody said today that they didn't get it and asked if it was an inside joke.
