Yea, he had kind of a lull there after finishing the Dark Tower series. Duma Key is great though as was Lisey's Story.

Wow, there is a lot of good music here that people are skipping. Hotel Arizona, Spiders, Pieholden...some of my favourites. I must say I never skip any song when I am listening to a Wilco album. I am not that much of a fan of Heavy Metal Drummer and maybe a couple others but I never skip them.

Christ, I cannot get more than half way past this album without getting bored.

Elton John was so "on" in the 70's and he was totally cool and brilliant. Pity to see him turn into such an old moaning queen but no one can take away that run of albums from 70 to 75.

Any Stephen King fans here or is that too low brow for this forum? Duma Key anyone?

Correct, they opened for The Who. As for the album, well it marked the last time the foursome pictured on it played together I think. They are not a great live album band though, I think anyway. It's a definite case of "had to be there" kind of experience.

TV comedy went downhill when Roseanne won the lottery.

Oh for sure and long may it continue that way. It's just that the music mags always fawn over the Mats and never even mention the Huskers. I remain irked.
