  1. Already mentioned but really anything by Cassavetes will do. Also:
  2. Of course you all realise that not every little thing that has happened in Lostworld will be explained come the end of the show and there will be hundreds of little questions and loose ends that we will obsess over for years afterwards. Bastards.
  3. God, that Bon Jovi crap is the most godawful tripe. Seriously, I'd rather listen to Kiss thatn Def Jovi Bon Leppard.
  4. Before you click on that video it just looks like a random guy shagging some animal outdoors. Which is fine if that is your particular bag....
  5. It's an awful shame all right. I think that it is the fact that someone takes their own life that makes it even sadder. When a person does that, even if you don't know them personally, it always seems to hit that bit harder. So sick of goodbyes...
  6. Same here really and I only know that from it being used as the title music to a comedy show on British tv called Teachers.
  7. Joe Henry - Blood From Stars. A fantastic album from a hugely under rated musician. The Big To Do from the DBT on the other hand....I can't even gethalfway through it and I have to abandon it. It just sets my teeth on edge. The second album from Retribution Gospel Choir...top notch stuff, one of my faves of this short year so far.
  8. I have only just seen WALL-E and was completely charmed by it. I also watched It Might Get Loud during the week and it only reinforced my opinion of The Hedge being a twat and an effects guitar player.
  9. I only really know that Bellybutton album but that is shit hot.
  10. I mean, come on...seriously. There has never been a period in their "career" where they have been in any way interesting or even remotely metal.
  11. Well, that sounds like it could be worth listening to. I rarely bother with anything ole Reg has done since that run of albums in the 70's but I wouldn't bet against a late career renaissance.
  12. He's taking his fucking time about it!
  13. It's a bad one for sure. Shame too because he is a fine player and just what we need in that midfield. Someone who can play but also has a bit of bite to him. Seems like he had his leg planted when Shawcross hit him and that's what did for him. I hate those fucking Stoke c**ts anyway. Horse a long throw into the box towards some semi human monolith standing there.
  14. Now, a Cooley album I can totally get behind.
  15. There's a thread killer right there.
  16. Not really falling for it myself either. Might be my copy of it or maybe I am getting old but it sounds as if it recorded by amateurs. Too many things going on in the mix and vocals a bit murky. Then again, I think that most DBT albums seem that way.
  17. And a million Gooner Wilco fans shut down the internet.
  18. Prince, baby, get away with that shite! I am totally nervous about this game. Surely we can't get another road win....against the Colts? Eek! Go Jets!!
  19. Which makes them all the more unlikeable.
  20. I don't get the bashing for bands who let their songs be used in commercials. I mean, as long as it isn't for Kalashnikov or the Republican party or Fox News then all power to them.
  21. I agree. The few times I have seen them play live, on tv admittedly, his backing vocals were bloody awful.
  22. As Monty Burns says...EXCELLENT.
  23. Well, that's just a tremendous fucking validation and more than a little sign of your creeping madness.
  24. How awesome were Skunk Anansie back in the olden days?
  25. “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It” is one step above Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start The Fire,” and that’s not a good place to be. Reasons number 1 to 100 never to read that hack writer again. And isn't the instrument he is on about on Leave, winding it's way through the song, an ARP synth?
