Man, I love Rush. I'd love to see them live but unless they come over here on this upcoming tour I probably never will get to see them. I like the two new songs that have been knocking around the net lately and I thought that the last album was fantastic. My fave period remains the early years right up to Moving Pictures.

I saw Weller live 2 years ago and it was a fantastic night. High energy show full of classic tunes. Seeing him again at the end of the month and really looking forward to it. Fast Car is a great little track. Pointer of maybe where The Jam might have gone?

I am kind of underwhelmed with them too. I only checked them out because I am seeing them soon but they are 4th on the bill behind Villagers, Midlake and Grizzly Bear so I may not even pay them that much attention then either.

Well, I mean it was ok for what it was but for a fan I kind of thought it was a bit by the numbers compared to his best stuff. Sorry for sounding like a twat there.

I thought Cell was poor o be honest. Seemed like a clearing the decks sort of exercise. Lisey's Story, Duma Key and Under The Dome that came after are much, much better. As is the short story collection Just After Sunset.

Did you see the show? Newsome was the best thing on it as well as Mumford & Sons, awful band name though. Worst show in a while though and that is saying something about that show. Holland's inane interview technique is bloody irritating. As for Hole....Lord why?
