  1. Shhhhh.....her father is just down the hall.
  2. Many comfort vibes heading your way, Chris. My sincere condolences to the family.
  3. I thought someone here might be able to tell me where I can find some good pop culture sound sets for Office 2004's Entourage. I have a bunch, but the site where I used to grab them from is gone. I've been using classic Mario sounds for a long time and I'm ready for something new.
  4. Alright, people. Actually, maybe you can take this over to the Charleston thread, and give me a good reason to shut that regurgitated nonsense down too.
  5. I hadn't heard of it before but it looks like it's in the same location as the Hammerstein. Is this a solo tour or will he have a band?
  6. I just scored 2nd row seats for the Calvin.
  7. Al and I were at the Loose Fur shows too but I was way too shy to look for any VCers.
  8. Any time you want to come back for a visit, you are always welcome. We have a much nicer house now, with the same purr-fect kitty friends!!
  9. Oh, I didn't mean to imply she was greedy, it's just an extreme measure to go through for some extra cash. I think it's an awesome souvenir for a fan.
  10. I think they did. What's funny is I never actually saw them at my house. They drove up separately and were maybe a 1/2 hour behind us. I was so tired I went right to bed and Mr. Peel stayed up to wait for them. We both had to work the next day, so I left before they got up. We met back up at the Irving Plaza show that night.
  11. That's right! What a great show. Remember, Mikey from American Chopper was there too! I think I was more starstruck being around him than by Wilco. That was also the night I met kidsmoke, and the night she stayed at my house with her son and jimtweedy!
  12. I don't know why, but I'm a little irked by this offer. It would be cool if she did it as a contest or for charity..... She must really be strapped for cash. That said, what a treat for fans willing to pay!
  13. I remember meeting him after the monumental Poughkeepsie show. Oh yeah, and you too. Was that the first time we met? It's a blur.
  14. That was hilarious. I wonder how long it will take Jennifer Garner to record her comeback.
  15. I miss legalsandwichmaneuver. He won every "Best Screen Name" competition.
  16. Judging by the amount of investigatory shows I've watched about people posing as doctors and doing crazy shit to innocent patients, I'd say those checks don't happen as often as I'd like to think.
  17. My first too. I was on a couple old school emailing lists for bands, where every email you wrote went to everyone else on the list. But this was my first proper message board experience. I don't know when I originally signed up but I'd say it was probably the second half of 2002.
  18. You're right, Wilco has never done anything like that for us. I must have been dreaming when YHF and SBS were made available online for free, or by the honor system, which is essentially what Radiohead did too. They did ask for money, you know, they just didn't demand it. Radiohead asked for "donations". Wilco asked that when the albums were officially released we would go out and buy a copy if we liked the album. And how about allowing taping at every show they play for free trading? Or how about playing shows in people's freaking living rooms for charity? Selfish pricks, I tell ya.
  19. I'm loving the flute in the 'Same Old Thing' intro.
