  1. Oops, right! I have a migraine and I seem to be typing all sorts of shit I don't mean to today.
  2. Today's Special on Nickelodeon....on right after Pinwheel
  3. According to CNN, the $5500 figure is correct.
  4. Ours was "Dream A Little Dream" by Ella and Louis.
  5. Morgantown! Let's see how long it takes the other resident to chime in! Welcome to the boards!
  6. I believe Jeff had his own (unoriginal ) login name for a while too. And Jim O'Rourke used to be around quite frequently.
  7. You're right, I think they did do a redesign. Lucky for you!!
  8. Have you experienced any windshield problems with the Scion xB? I had heard about cracking windshields in the past and I just discovered there is a whole complaint website devoted to the issue. http://www.myscionsucks.com
  9. I think in the beginning Kias were really horrible, one step away from being a disposable car, but they've reinvented themselves markedly over the last 4 or 5 years.
  10. It's funny you should ask...I was just looking at cars online about an hour ago. I currently have a '04 Corolla, and it's a great car. Great safety record, and EXCELLENT gas mileage. I average around 35-38 mpg. It's a good value in terms of depreciation too. I bought it new and put 90K miles on it so far without any major problems. But I would also like to get something along the 4WD hatchback lines without having to sacrifice decent mileage, so I'm looking at a RAV 4, which is also getting outstanding ratings. I like the look of the new models; they're much less boxy than they used to
  11. A little later: ...to celebrate the 3rd row tickets I just got.
  12. It was a great choice of music for the segment. Did you notice during the traffic scene they were playing Arcade Fire's "No Cars Go"? Then they went straight into "Walken" for when the dude was walking to his computer.
  13. So does Al. You guys should get together and reminisce.
  14. I don't know, these dates were in a MySpace post looking for street teams.
  15. Well, I'm really sorry to hear that, Sarah. I would hang on to your stuff though. Even if you don't reconcile at some point, maybe you can sell it some day and make some cash.
  16. Wow, Ben, you just reminded me of something. My Aunt Faith died 7 years ago in the first week of February. One year later, on Valentine's Day, my uncle was going through a huge stack of junk mail that had been accumulating for ages, and he found a Valentine card from my aunt to him.
  17. I'm in a different camp I guess, because my whole family calls each other on my father's and grandfather's birthdays, and usually wants to get together for dinner. In my mind, they're gone and to acknowledge the birthdays of people who aren't there to be honored just makes it all the more sad for me. My grandmother really benefits from it though, so I bite the bullet. It's definitely not something I'll participate in after she's gone though. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my father, and even almost 5 years later it still hits me hard at the strangest times. So to voluntarily b
  18. Yeah, it's a weird little tour. Two nights in Boston is especially strange.
  19. Putting the tray tables down on the runway also sends out distorting radio frequencies. Now that should simply not be allowed. When I own my own airline I'll ban that practice.
  20. "Im In Love.....With That Song" Volumes 1 & 2 (El Kevin's fantastical Replacements comps)
