Best. No contest. Others I can think of: The Wayouts (Flintstones) Dingoes Ate My Baby (Buffy) Zack Attack (Saved by the Bell) The Rockafire Explosion (Showbiz Pizza)

I've been slacking lately, and I need/deserve to get my ass kicked in a healthy, physique improving way, so I'll probably go to Operation Boot Camp's bring-a-friend-day tomorrow morning with my wife.

That's possible. Someone says it, that much is for sure. It never occurred to me that it might've been someone other than Dylan. -

Awesome. I thought it was pretty clear for all to hear on the cd. Drummers can't hear for shit, so who cares what Mickey Jones says? -
She also dated some goon from Maroon 5.

I need to get it in gear. Aside from the radio, which has mostly been playing crap, the only things I've listened to this whole month are Side Two of this: And all but the last few minutes of this:

You're correct.

No, not the Stones. GtrPlyr above has the answer hidden in his spoiler tag.

The 8 Month Old "New" Fall TV Season 2010-2011

I liked it. I'll be a loyal viewer since they filmed a bunch of scenes right next to where I work in downtown Atlanta. The tank/zombie attack scene, in the first episode, for instance. -
8 is not Primal Scream. They are not all intros. #4 is the end of drum solo.

I know 1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10. I think I know who #6 is, but not what song.

I've decided you're in the wrong thread. You should mosey on over to the "I Have Bad Taste In Movies" thread.

I agree. I'd like it if that happened. I assume you've heard Watt's Contemplating the Engine Room? There's another Watt album with Nels on it awaiting release. Hopefully that'll come out sometime this year.

Unfortunately, I got to see Leroy with Wilco only once. I also saw him once with Five Style. He played bass in that band.
-
I saw them open for Wilco in Iowa. Then I saw them a week later in a club in Atlanta. That was a cool band.

Hmm, maybe a bad tube socket? Have you taken the tube out and examined the pins? Maybe some of the pins are bent or broken. Short circuit in one of the wires to the tube socket? Those are the only things I can think of. But I don't know shit about amps or electronics. I'll bet it's something pretty simple.

Great? No. Historically significant? Yes. -
Nothing, really. I don't care to dig into anyone's private life or spread gossip. It just surprises me that there hasn't been a congratulatory thread...considering happy birthday threads, and that type of thing, are pretty common. Watt mentions Nels' wedding a lot. Watt's in Japan touring on his new album now, which was timed to allow him to be there for Nels' wedding.

Downtown Music Gallery wrote up the Floored By Four release for this week's newsletter (I'm sort of surprised that the bold portion hasn't gotten more attention around here): FLOORED BY FOUR [NELS CLINE/YUKA HONDA/MIKE WATT/DOUGIE BOWNE] - Floored By Four (Chimera 4; USA) Floored by Four features Nels Cline on electric guitar & effects, Yuka Honda on keyboards & vibes, Mike Watt on bass, voice & songs and Dougie Bowne on drums. This is an odd and rather incestuous line-up of four famed folks from varied backgrounds. Monster guitarist Nels Cline tours & records with both
