I thought they wouldn't be able to top themselves with the team of midgets racing an elephant in pulling a 747 across a tarmac.

wow i wasnt aware of that, i too would appreciate those recordings

83.3...interesting but seems like it tests more your memory than your intonation.

i think i would have preferred it that way

That's sort of how i play it but I like to capo 3 and play Am instead of the Penis Enlargement in the second verse.

I get made fun of this almost daily but I have an iPod shuffle and i love it. Fits 1GB of music which is actually a good deal. At the beginning of the day I load it up with 5 or 6 albums (although it can fit about 10-12) listen to those albums, charge it at night. Adding and removing music takes about 2 minutes and is really easy. Don't use the shuffle feature much; I just play the songs in order and it works fine. Bit of a bummer not having a screen but for 99 bucks (i think they are even cheaper now), not a bad deal at all. Highly recommend it, then you can spend the extra cash on a decent s

I actually saw OK Go open for Wilco at Brown Univ. last year. It was a weird choice for opener but it was a concert put on by the school. Just a fun fact...

My friend who was at the show just told me that for the encore Chad Smith did indeed come out on stage wearing a Michigan jersey. The crowd booed him and then they started singing hail to the victors (the michigan fight song).

If I am not mistaken Jeff still takes most of the solos. Definetely on the AGIB stuff (although Nels does the viola bit from Hummingbird) and I think most of the older stuff that has solos as well.

PM anyone? Thanks in advance.

I like to play in D shapes, dropped D. Actual key doesn't really matter (capo between 2 and 5 is usually how i like to play acoustic). I like maj7 chords. This is a strange question, I gave a strange answer.

Wilco will never be on TRL, that is a fact, but for the type of music that Wilco makes, they get a lot of fucking press. They can sell out theatres in most American cities and have played quite a few small arena shows. For a band that isn't on the radio or tv and is really doing their own thing, Wilco are huge and its pretty easy to see by the number of people at shows who are there because they just "heard that Wilco are awesome."

The new TVotR is simply amazing, definite album of the year contender for me. As for Strokes and B&S, I would consider myself a pretty big fan of both bands and while I enjoyed both of those albums, neither of them were spectacular and definetely not close to album of the year. TVotR, Destroyer, Ghostface Killah, M.Ward, Islands, and Sonic Youth..I must be missing some though.

Anyone else heard this yet? I think its awesome, only 3 songs though. Also anyone (solace) know when their full-length is due out?

Probably one of the most underrated bands around due to the fact that they are often dubbed a Pavement side project. But David Berman is one the best lyricists around.

1. ...And Nico 2. White Light/White Heat 3. V.U. 4. Velvet Underground 5. Loaded But honestly the last three are really close.

I just saw them Monday night in Boston. Was pretty impressed but dissapointed by 2 things. First the fact that none of the band move whatsoever and it gets dull to watch. And second I thought they were getting a little indulgent with the excessive jams at the end of a lot of the songs but overall pretty good show. Great sound and really powerful with 3 guitars up there.
