It's been a long time since a president nomination race went on this long. Plus, you have the added zest of the battle being between the first credible woman candidate and the first credible black candidate. It may sound trite, but it is true - we are witnessing capital-H History.

Yep. I think Obama is cooked, actually, and this is my reasoning. Obama's fundamental appeal is emotional - people (including myself) voted for him because it felt good to do so, like we were affirming hope. He really has no record to run on; he has positions and opinions, but no real track record, other than being prescient enough to oppose the Iraq war back in the day. I don't think Hillary will stop until she is stopped. She will use every weapon at her disposal to get the nomination. She seems blind to the fact that if she does get the nomination, it will be a Pyhrric victory and guarantee a McCain presidency.
