  1. My nephew, then 7, watched the World Series last year and declared that he loves the Red Sox. That, and the fact he may well be a Boston resident before too long, moved me to get him this hat for his birthday.
  2. That's the thing, though. Life is like that. There is no closure. Iron Man. Liked it quite a bit. Downey really made the movie, but Bridges was solid as well. Good thing we stayed for the credits - something AWESOME was revealed.

  12. I was stoned one early morning and watching the psychedelic kids' show Boobah and wondered if the show's whole point was to condition the next generation for the revelation of extraterrestrial contact.

  17. I think if you want to take the LIRR, you have to go to Penn Station. Amtrak and Metro-North both pull into Grand Central. Amtrak goes into Penn Station, too - depends on the line. The demolition of the original Penn Station was one of the stupidest things in New York City history. It used to look like this:
