  1. The albums are listed in order of release.
  2. It would seem I missed the point of this thread by jumping onto the second page and being a dumbass. Apologies.
  3. If I only had one life to live, I'd watch that video that nudie posted.
  4. Does this video recommend anything outside of opening our eyes?
  5. It's depressing and hard to remember/recognize that we have more music available to us in more ways now than ever before. Borders changed my music listening life when I was in high school and it came to town. It was right before downloading entire albums was practical and all of my income was disposable income. Compared to the only other store in town, Best Buy, their selection was like a revelation. I haven't even wandered into the music section of a Borders in years, but it will be weird to go in there and not even have the option.
  6. I'm a Maher fan, but this is my biggest problem with him. You can be an atheist without being a condescending prick. But I enjoyed the movie a good deal despite that.
  7. As far as I can remember, Feist is the only concert that I have walked out of because of how awful it was. For me, the excitement is more about a duet than it is about Feist.
  8. I keep seeing this. I just want to state, for the record, that I don't get the comparison at all.
  9. Maybe we here at Via Chicago should start a newspaper. Half of the people here seem to be journalists.
  10. So does my mom. But doesn't it seem kind of ridiculous that people have to call into a TV show to figure out if they can afford something? I'm a bit spend crazy myself, but it might be time for all of us to get back to the "if you have the money, you can afford it" philosophy. I think this is true, but it was pretty damning when Cramer blatantly advocated manipulating the market with rumors, etc. And short selling. These things effect us whether or not we listen to Jim Cramer.
  11. It was what the white man calls a joke. Clearly not funny, but that is often the case with me.
  12. I already posted about this is another thread and 'the bunk' did not use the search function.
  13. Yeah, this is unbelievable. Hats off to him.
  14. I am torn between corned beef and cabbage at my house next Tuesday or BPB in Iowa City.
  15. Maybe you belong in tongue-tied lightning. Not really, though. The new record is going to be boss. I heard there is a epic groove on track 9.
  16. 1 - Impossible to gauge how much of this, if any, is Obama's fault. 2- Yes, it is. 3 - You should.
  17. I see that. My pea-sized brain can't handle words that have different meanings in different places.
  18. In America, being selfish or an "egoist" (which we do say here) is typically a conservative value. (And I'm not saying that to start a political shitstorm, just to point out that conservatives want to keep all of their money and liberals want to give large portions of it away through taxation with the hope that our country spends it wisely)
  19. I don't think Rush is stupid enough to believe half of what he's saying is true. Glenn Beck? Totally. But not Rush.
  20. Rush is the most deplorable kind of human out there. I think we all know that. Anybody that lies to people to get rich can go choke on a dick.
