I always feel like the correct choice with the first pick in years like this (no clear-cut number one) is to trade down. The first pick is a bust half the time and you'd be better off getting something like two first rounds or a mid-first round and three seconds.

I am reading Revolutionary Road right now, and I bought Yukio Mishima's The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea today. I'll get at that one in a bit.

I do think the whole 1776 thing is more than a bit wankish. Patriotism is a prostitute. It's all fun and games until you get syphilis.

Watched that movie last night. I understand now why it was given away for free. I liked it and all, but there's not really much there. As for the new record, I'm getting into a bit more. It still isn't as good as the first one, though. I feel like, had they trimmed it down to 12 songs or so, it could be excellent.
