  1. Technically he did a solo album. Demo Crazy..it was only released on vinyl I think...I got a copy..it is ok I am still pissed about the Blur reunion because they kept hinting that more dates would be added then that was it. If that was the case I would have went to Europe for a show if I need to!
  2. Although I am a huge Albarn fan I wish he would stop all this side project business and get back to Blur...new album and US tour! BTW I have seen Gorillaz, Mali Music and Good the Bad The Queen in concert and all were great but Blur is the band I am itching to see as I have never seen them live with Graham!
  3. Yeah I thought the ticketfast was strange because they said will-call only at first. I printed mine out and thankfully I have a souvineir if nothing else as we probably won't get pysical tickets as we enter the bowery...
  4. Hi all, I know we have some well traveled folks here and even some kiwi's so your input would be appreciated! I have 10 nights free in feb for a trip and the wife and I were planning for New Zealand...after the 20 hours of flying I am down to 8 nights so here is what I was planning... 2 Nights in Auckland with a day trip to Rotorua 2 in Queenstown (Te Anu, Milford Sound day trip) 1 Night Franz Joseph/Fox Glacier 2 in Christchurch 1 in Auckland at end I decided to axe Wellington, Dunedin...Would I be missing out by forgoing these 2? Obviously I have a very limited time frame so I got to
  5. I always keep trying for the first 10 minutes just in case....
  6. The captcha should be numbers just so it is easier to read! By some luck I got a sorta short word that I could read but I had some 25 letter phrases before
  7. In for Bowery too! Ticketfast ticket no less...couldn't do will call? Tarrytown is sold out now too!
  8. Tarrytown holds 900 or so and is also on a Monday night..I would think it is still the easier ticket vs a Friday night NYC show in a 550 capacity room...
  9. If two people score two tickets each they can each walk in one guest or sell a pair...every show is unfortunatly scalpable Wristbands do though cut back on it significantly.. Only a similar note I completley forgot about the PRESALE! I am such an idiot (I remembered 5 minutes ago!!!)! Wish me luck on friday!
  10. Nuts...I just wasted $10 on a fake UT reunion ticket... Kiddin..
  11. Maybe it is the time...tickets on sale? http://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/19101
  12. I only got one ticket for Tarrytown too... Bowery is GA, Standing room...not really a bad spot in the house... I was looking for Will-Call too... $62.50 for 1 $48 ticket! Lot in service carges but am more than happy to pay that to be in the door! I can't walk there but am only 40 minutes away! Will also be seeing Medeski, Martin and Wood there in 3 weeks from the front row!
  13. Nice presale for Tarrytown! Scored Row B Center Orch! SEE YA THERE! Good luck for everyone trying!
  14. I have been to at least 30 shows at the Bowery..The are a very efficient oiled machine. I am not the slightest bit worried about the willcall for this show (Assuming I can score a ticket!) I have seen Depeche Mode here in a similar situation and it worked flawlessly. Any questions about venue, parking, places to eat etc send them my way! Hopefully I will see y'all there!
  15. I joined a class action suit against Sam Goody back in 2003 or so and got a check for like $18! The price of one Sam Goody cd
  16. http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive/2010/10/12/743610.aspx I wouldn't want to face the wrath of commuters!
  17. Ha! That's great! on a related note I just scored ticket for the 12/30 MSG show which is ironically the 15th anniversary of my first Phish show in the same spot good ol MSG!
  18. "One of the defendants, Curt Schlesinger, purchased four Wilco tickets from Ticketmaster in 2003 and paid an additional $19.50 for UPS delivery, which he assumed represented the actual delivery cost. However, the suit charges, the actual UPS rate to his home was only $16.35, and thanks to its discounted rates, Ticketmaster paid "substantially less" than $16.35. "As such, a portion of the $19.50 UPS delivery charge Schlesinger paid for delivery was secretly pocketed by Ticketmaster," the complaint alleges. 19. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101005/pl_yblog_upshot/rural-tennessee-fire-sparks-conservative-ideological-debate What the heck! I can't believe that the town would not charge the guy after even if he didn't pay! Terrible!
