  1. I heard this but how can this work? Will they show music videos and laugh at them or will the show the Hills and Real World and laugh at that in the background?
  2. http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/07/07/iran.haircuts/index.html?hpt=C1 Guess I won't be visiting anytime soon... PS No I don't have a mullet!
  3. Glad everyone is safe. I remember back about 10 years ago when a close family's friends house burned down and it is devistating. Just a friendly reminder to everyone to change your batteries on the fire detectors every 6 months and program the fire company number on your cell and house phone. Best of luck on the repairs, etc.
  4. I would say the bad rap is from Camden (South), Newark, Elizebeth (Central) and Jersey City (Northern)...I agree with your sentiments otherwise!
  5. http://www.nme.com/news/radiohead/51885 In Newcastle and Glasgow! Pretty cool!
  6. I like Girlfriend but I was late to the bus with Sweet. Sick of Myself was the first song I ever heard by him so the 90's stuff is what got me going. Still I love I'm Still Waiting, Girlfriend etc but I absolutley adore the 100%, Blue Skies, In Reverse run!

  10. Anyone else? I remember back in 1992 I bought Toad The Wet Sprockets Walk on the Ocean cassette single and maybe that is what started it..I believe Toad The Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms (To Some extent), Better Than Ezra and Del Amitri have very solid back catelogs and put on some fun shows. Anyone have any 90's acts they follow or seen in concert. I have seen Gin Blossoms, Better Than Ezra and Toad at least 5 times live each... My top picks from each include: Toad-Dulcena, Coil Gin Blossom- New Miserable Better Than Ezra-Friction, Garden Del Amitri-Some Other Sucker's Alrighty then glad t

  14. Geez it is amazing that the length of time for this match up I could have flown to London Round Trip from NYC! I could have caugh some of this historic match in person if I didn't hit any traffic!
  15. 100% yes...actually it has special meaning to me as the first time I saw Radiohead live Fitter Happier was the song they walked out to. I don't know why but I still have chills every time this song pops up!

  18. ...and to prove my point where in NJ have you visited?
  19. How many albums does he have? He is over 40 right? No love for Musicology? I think it is decent...
  20. Yeah I took a look at that thread earlier...was hoping someone from here can share their expierences too! I heard they recorded the shows maybe for a future release!
  21. I am surprised no one mentioned or put a review up of either the Electric Fetus or First Ave shows...I heard they did a few off Bunkhouse and some other great rare oldies! Anyone?
  22. Yeah there was in 1998 a judgement in the courts that it was in NJ because power was being provided by and paid for by NJ in addition to old land deeds and documents that supported NJ claims. If you visit Ellis Island you can see it is actually attached by a foot bridge to NJ and Statue of Liberty is on the NJ side on most maps...I know it is all on good fun so I take it for what it is worth. I just believe most people have poor misconseptions about NJ becuase they haven't really explored it. It also doesn't help our image to be the home of The Sopranos, Jersey Shore, Jerseylicous and the Real
  23. I remember reading the 2/3 so I just reproduced it from where I got it from.
  24. Read number 27... http://www.shgresources.com/nj/facts/ My favorite fact is number 12 though... NY still can't get over it!
  25. It should! I think it is $55k a year now to attend!
