I heard about this yesterday and it is sad on many levels. I can't imagine going out to a night of entertainment and witnessing what happened. It would be a memory that would be hard to forget. From what I heard the band, venue and audience handled it as best as they could.

My second time seeing the Baseball Project, first time with Mike Mills. I am not much of a baseball fan so I don't get all the refrences but still had fun and it was a good laid back concert. I got a major kick in seeing Mike Mills pound away on the bass in a small club. Sadly though the venue was half filled and if you don't know Maxwells it only holds 250!! Frankly it seems everyone I have talked to there has different answers...now I notice for the first time there is a night then a day ga ticket for Saturday..if you buy a day ticket do they kick you out before night time I am not sure how all this will work? Having a confirmtaion of what time Jeff takes the stage really would be helpful but no one at the fest seems to know!!

I called today to get some more information. They still don't know what time he is getting on but the guy said he should be playing an hour and half! Hopefully that is true! In addition to buying the $45 day ticket to get you into the festival for $8 more you can get a seat though not assigned by the stage.

I am seeing Steve Wynn perform with the Minus 5 and they are doing Dream Syndicate and Minus 5 stuff along with the Baseball Project next week and Mike Mills will be joining them!!!

I bought it off of Amazon from an individual seller...but I will try and contact the record company and see what happens...just for the sake of completion if not nothing else since all the other albums got the cd with it... Thanks for the response..

Nope.. The cd tracks are Impossible Germany, Sky Blue Sky and Walken...

I just got a copy of Sky Blue Sky on Vinyl and it says on the sticker the whole album comes on the cd inside. In my vinyl case there was only a cd that said selections from Sky Blue Sky and had 3 tracks on it...anyone else not get the full album? Was this covered before?

Does anyone know when his set time is or how long he is slated to play. I can not find any information and I emailed the folks on their page and they have not got back to me yet. Any info would be a big help! Anyone else attending?

Seen them twice..once in 2001 and once in 2006..the shows I went to weren't too smokey from what I remember. I think it all depends on the venue more than anything. I say go for it!

I have a strong feeling tickets will go well below face on ebay as I can't picture any of the shows selling out. When they played the Apollo back during Deamon Days I remember scoring a $75 ticket for $30... This is the route I am going.... On another note I am miffed at them for playing in Syria and Lebanon but boycotting Israel..seems hypocritical!

All I meant by flawless is an album you wouldn't change anything in. As in you wouldn't change the track order, remove any songs, shorten any tracks etc...basically an album with a flow.

Maybe I am not too embarrased to admit it but I did see Neil Diamond at MSG. He played 4 shows there recently and the ebay market was flooded. I ended up with 200 level tickets for $20 a piece and my wife and I had a great time even though we were the youngest people at the conert by I dunno 50 years!

I met Phil before and he is a cool guy. The fact that two of my all time favorite bands are working together and touring together in some form or another makes me all warm inside
