For me this is the most enjoyable tour since seeing them on the Being There tour! Great varied setlist, tight playing, etc! Couldn't be happier! Thanks!

Saw an interesting link. Some of the items don't look half bad! http://foodnetworkhumor.com/2009/07/mcdonalds-menu-items-from-around-the-world-40-pics/ When I was in Argentina I saw they had McCafe where they sold Eclairs and Cheesecake and in Australia I went to one that served Cappachino and Esspreso!

I wanted wish R.E.M. a happy 30th birthday! 30 years ago today in Athens, GA R.E.M. played their first gig at a friends party! R.E.M. has been my favorite band since 1989. A lot has changed since then but they still play a very important role in my appreciation for music and are still my all time favorite band! Some old pics...yay http://remhq.com/news_story.php?id=1145

Usually I slag off on Wilco and bitch about their setlist of recent but I must hand it to them this time. They really outdid themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed both shows and there was a great amount of variety....after about seeing them 15 times I heard for the first time: Box Full of Letters (First time hearing live since 97!) Outta Site, Outta Mind Dreamer in My Dreams (First time for me since 97!) Nothingsever (Fullband) Summerteeth (Fullband) I'll Fight More Like The Moon Thank You Friends Broken Arrow In The Street Thank you Wilco...you have my appologies! PS I usually HATE Spiders b

Sections are very much inforced. You have a balcony it will be impossible to get down to the floor. They give you a wristband and rip your ticket if you have floor seats. If you get there at 745 you will be in the middle/back. Show started promptly at 815!
-
They got on at 815 and off at 1120..show was 3 hours and 5 minutes! Is this the longest show in Wilco's history???
-
Tons of residential, free street parking a few blocks away from the theater!
-
I would suggest South Park for drinks out of the few I have been too in Montclair...it is only 3 blocks from the venue it is at 30 S Park St... Any meet ups planned? Anyone???
-
Scout out the venue before....see where the bus is parked and find the door closest from the venue to the bus...that is where odds are they would be leaving from. I have had good fortune meeting the band both before and after the show. I actually ran into Nels, Mikael, Pat and John in the town of the concert by accident before! Usually after the show you will see a bunch of others waiting..just hang back and if the band is in the mood they will stop and talk. Usually someone else will get the ball rolling and you can just slide in after. The band are pretty friendly and I find it very easy to

My Second Cousin is an illusionist who designs illusions for tours and worked with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Usher and a few others...I don't know if that means I am 1 degree from the Jackson's but if that is the case that is freaky!
-
The ironic thing is the last album he released in the USA in 2003 "Invincible" Sold a dismal 2 million copies....Can't recoup $250 Mil that way.
-
You should do it...that would be a fun cultural expierence. I always have been tempted to see big artist in the unpopular concert towns. one of my favorites Medeski, martin and Wood just played Serbia and Tiblisi, Georgia...I would love to see how the crowd would react to the band. My favorite though was reading up on the White Stripes when they played in Canada at Iqaluit at the eskimo village in a town 1000 miles north of Quebec in a town of 500 people..I would have paid a ton to see that show as it would have been an unforgettable expierence. I actually looked into it at the time but airfar

I won a trip to Hawaii from Wheel of Fortune...
remphish1 replied to remphish1's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
It wasn't... I googled my number typed in wheel of fortune spin ids and my number and it said the date and the prize in the results! -
I signed up for the Wheel Watchers Spin Id after I attended a taping of the show back in 2008. I watch Wheel of Fortune maybe once every other month. Anyway I got an email from Wheel of Fortune Wheel Watchers yesterday with a newsletter of some sorts and my id was at the top. I decided to see if my number ever got called so I entered it in..Lo and behold back in July 2008 probably 2 month after I signed up my number was picked for an all expenses paid trip to Maui! You have only 24 hours to claim your prize after your number was called. I guess the fact that I don't watch the show I shouldn't

I did my mortgage through PNC bank...about 2 or 3 months later they sold my mortgage to Wells Fargo....Wells Fargo is decent as they let me refinance 1 time at no extra cost.
