  1. As awesome as Trace is I listen to Wide Swing the most! Love Medicine Hat, Question, Driving the View, Flow!
  2. I hope the song Intervention makes the live portion of the DVD. That was epic live when I saw them!
  3. I wish I was into Tuelpo when they were around and touring. That would have been an awesome show!!! Hopefully some more will make appearences soon! Just curious how many of you had the good fortune of hearing some Tupelo songs live and who played them. I got to hear: Life Worth Living (Son Volt) Black Eye (Jeff Solo) Wait Up (Jeff Solo) Still Be Around (Jay Solo) Slate (Jay Solo) Acuff-Rose (Jeff Solo) The Long Cut (Wilco) Chickamuga (Son Volt) New Madrid (Wilco) We've Been Had (Wilco)
  4. http://www.newson6.com/global/story.asp?s=9499737 This type of thing makes me lose faith in the justice system!
  5. July 3rd already sold out! Added July 2nd! Big demand!
  6. Im waiting...just figure I would mention it is officially out somewhere! NY IS ALREADY SOLD OUT AUGGGGH!
  7. Wow! Great work! Question. I never been to one of these Living Room shows. How many attend this? 30 People? That would be about $750 a person to get in right?! Wilco fans are very generous (Jeff and Sue too)!
  8. Available on ebay! http://cgi.ebay.com/MARK-OLSON-GARY-LOURIS...p3286.m20.l1116
  9. Does he tell you to take a "stab" at the guitar solos at your lesson... Sorry bad pun
  10. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2008-1...m?se=yahoorefer And I thought Jersey would win!
  11. Glad I am not in this band! http://www.nme.com/news/various-artists/41592 Shesh!
  12. Nice! PS. Both NYC show sold out! NUTS!
  13. Seeing shows in NYC is awesome except for 3 things. Ticket prices are the highest in the country, drinks are expensive and the shows get on REAL LATE! I have seen many headlines that take the stage at 11pm (Even on a Monday!) It usually means I get home at 1-2am! Not fun. Other than that NYC gets every show you could think of so it is hard to find much else to complain about.
  14. I saw them in March and they played Popular. I have seen them 5 times and they have only played it 2 times? Popular in the context of their careers does not fit into their style at all. I saw them on Monday at Maxwells and we got some great surprises! Neither Heaven nor Space All is a Game (First performance ever!) Hyperspace 80 Windows Treehouse
  15. Agreed! Loose String, Ten Second News, Route, Drown, Catching On, Mystifies Me! What else can you ask for!
  16. Wow what has REM done to you? Seems a little personal. Though I can't say I don't know the feeling. I used to love Aerosmith but I lost it after that song Pink came out. Anyway just wanted to see why your opinion changed so much.
  17. As a fan of both bands I don't get all the criticism of both the bands. All 6 of the albums you listed have many many great songs. POP by U2 is probably my 2nd favorite album by them. All That You Can't Leave Behind has great songs (Peace on Earth, When I Look at the World, Walk On), Atomic Bomb is a little weak but still I spin it every once in a while. REM meanwhile the last three albums I still enjoy and listen to . Reveal has some classics ( Imitation, Rain, I've Been High, Beat a Drum) and Accelerate is an amazing album. I listen to that quite oftent. So I would still give the edge to REM
  18. Doesn't even hold a candle to last year!
  19. Headlines and Jaywalking are funny...rest of his show I don't like.
  20. Agreed on Walkmen! On a side note I am seeing them on next Tuesday and can't wait!
  21. Born in the USA was after Nebraska. Perhaps his most iconic?
  22. It does kind of look like a childrens book cover. I am sure the music will be fine though
