  1. In what may be the worse economy in the last century I have never spent more money. In the last 30 days alone I bought a house, washer, dryer, fridge, 2 TVs, Sleeper Couch, Bed, Dining Room Set, Coffee Table, Area Rugs, Holiday gifts for friends and family and had the trees trimmed in the yard. I always seems to do the opposite of realty! Hopefully I am not completley out of my mind!
  2. I was at 12/29/97 That one was great!
  3. Even though Wilco was playing a mere 5 miles away I had to see the Walkmen... Walkmen delivering another great live set last night. You and Me is probably my favorite album of 2008! Playa New Year Louisana I Lost You Good For Me New Country Canadian Girl They're Winning Rat Red Moon Blue Route? All Hands The Cook Long Time Ahead of Us On The Water ------------- White Christmas Another One Goes By
  4. I like the Gorillaz, Mali Music and Good Bad...I saw all 3 live and they were all great. GTBTQ was REALLY good live...it made me appreciate the album alot. I like Green Fields, Three Changes, 80's Life and Kingdom of Doom alot. Gorillaz I saw on both album tours. Demon Days was preformed live with almost all the special guest on the album. That was surreal. Mali Music was my leats favorite of the froup but still worth of a night of entertainment.
  5. Yeah I am a bit of a Blur Fanatic. They are maybe a band or two behind Wilco for me as far as favorites. Blur have a few week songs in their career but as a whole it is something else! If you like a majority of their career you must get the 10th anniversary singles box (On ebay once in awhile). It has all 22 of their singles and all the bside etc. Its like 144 tracks and the bsides are as good as their A sides. Check out these if you can: Mr. Briggs, Sing, Down, Young+Lovely, I'm Fine, Mag Pie, All Your Life, All We Wanted!
  6. Charmless Man, Stereotypes and Globe Alone are awesome!
  7. As awesome as Trace is I listen to Wide Swing the most! Love Medicine Hat, Question, Driving the View, Flow!
  8. I hope the song Intervention makes the live portion of the DVD. That was epic live when I saw them!
  9. I wish I was into Tuelpo when they were around and touring. That would have been an awesome show!!! Hopefully some more will make appearences soon! Just curious how many of you had the good fortune of hearing some Tupelo songs live and who played them. I got to hear: Life Worth Living (Son Volt) Black Eye (Jeff Solo) Wait Up (Jeff Solo) Still Be Around (Jay Solo) Slate (Jay Solo) Acuff-Rose (Jeff Solo) The Long Cut (Wilco) Chickamuga (Son Volt) New Madrid (Wilco) We've Been Had (Wilco)

  13. Wow! Great work! Question. I never been to one of these Living Room shows. How many attend this? 30 People? That would be about $750 a person to get in right?! Wilco fans are very generous (Jeff and Sue too)!
  14. Available on ebay! http://cgi.ebay.com/MARK-OLSON-GARY-LOURIS...p3286.m20.l1116

  17. Glad I am not in this band! http://www.nme.com/news/various-artists/41592 Shesh!
  18. Nice! PS. Both NYC show sold out! NUTS!
  19. Seeing shows in NYC is awesome except for 3 things. Ticket prices are the highest in the country, drinks are expensive and the shows get on REAL LATE! I have seen many headlines that take the stage at 11pm (Even on a Monday!) It usually means I get home at 1-2am! Not fun. Other than that NYC gets every show you could think of so it is hard to find much else to complain about.
  20. I saw them in March and they played Popular. I have seen them 5 times and they have only played it 2 times? Popular in the context of their careers does not fit into their style at all. I saw them on Monday at Maxwells and we got some great surprises! Neither Heaven nor Space All is a Game (First performance ever!) Hyperspace 80 Windows Treehouse
  21. Agreed! Loose String, Ten Second News, Route, Drown, Catching On, Mystifies Me! What else can you ask for!
