I did a trip to Santiago, Vina Del Mar and Valparaso Chile then I went to Buenos Aires and Colonia Uruguay! I had a wonderful time! The food was awesome in all locations and the dollar goes really far. Buenos Aires feels like Paris and has great parks and sites. Chile is a little on the smoggy side but the sites were amazing. The Andes were beautiful! I also took some wonderful winery tours, yum! I booked my vacation on virgin-vacations.com back in 2004 and it ran about $1100 for an 8 day trip for Chile and Argentina, tranfers, hotels and all flights between from NYC! This was certianly one of

I am celebrating record store day at one of the best record stores I ever been to Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ! The place is massive! I am attending a Nada Surf instore that day! I might have to pick up some vinyl too that day to celebrate! Here is a story in the New York Times about record stores trying to survive! http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/18/arts/mus...xprod=permalink

He was a real trouper playing some shows when he was going through what he was. He is an intergal part of the bands sound. I will miss him! I especially enjoyed the two times I heard him play in Sandy live.

Touche! But I am not a big media outlet like CNN...there are bigger issues going on in the world than this!

There are some bands on that list that deserve some wider recognition in the USA. Bands like Echo and The Bunnymen, Stone Roses and Blur are classic. Oasis even had some fine moments but they aren't the best bands in the world. I just like seening musical perseptions from around the world. I always wonder what people thought of bands around the world. I guess this shows me

I stand by posting the link..it offered some comedic relief for the day!

http://www.nme.com/index.php?class=rate&am...reatestbandever Some odd choices, most definatley would not fly in the USA! Some bands aren't faring well! Also Oasis is ranked number 1 over the Beatles! REM only a 5.25 out of 10! Springsteen only a 4 out of 10! Repalcements got 3 out of 10! Anyhoo...enjoy!

Yeah it is a strange place. An abandoned pool. I was standing in the back for Beasties and it was very far away. Good thing is the stage is high off the ground. Free shows are only on Sunday I think?

Where was I? I just checked Wilcobase June 2003...

I just saw they are playing McCarren Pool on Aug 13th! Sweet! I saw the Beastie Boys here. It is quite a large venue! Interesting place to see a show. I am looking forward to seeing Wilco outdoors in the summer in NYC! Yay! It should be a lot easier to get tickets for this verse the Warsaw! Have they played any outdoor NYC shows before? I can't recall?

Ahhh that's a relief!

I am cringing at the fact that he did John Mayer? Is there a story or joke behind that?
