Does anybody know how to play this like jeff did in 2001 or the movie? thanks. charlie

It's like walking down the bass note of the chord to the next bass note, like you're playing a G chord and going to a E chord walkdown onto F sharp and then to the E chord. hope that helped.

I thought it was standard tuning Capo on 2.. sounds perfect to me. Edit: and it's the single Drop D so that's DADGBE.

If you wanna play a little more like Jeff in the movie when you're playing in the intro E-A play E----0---2--3-- on the low E string as a bridge.

Does anybody have the chords to Dear Employer? I know they were up on altcountrytabs.com, but the server still seems to be down. Any help appreciated. Thanks Charlie

One of the odd things Jeff does is when he's playing the D chord is he hammers on to the G string on the first beat during the intro, first verse line, etc.

well live for the rythem section it takes 2 guitars, Jeff who from what i see is using a pick so probably strumming and i know Pat is fingerpicking. Nels, is just being the guitar god as usual

	Spiders (kidsmoke) Capo on 5th fret is correct... (JT uses this one a substantial amount...). Chords are: C and F with hammer-ons on the second fret on D and G strings (middle two). then Dm (x00231), G / Gadd9 (First play G then change to 3202xx), the 2nd part is C, Bb (x13331), Am, G credit goes to Street Spirit who posted most of this before correctly... E |---------------------| G |-1-1--1-----1--1-1-1-| B |-0-0--0-----0--0-0-0-| D |-0h2--2---0h2--2-2-2-| A |-3-3--3-----3--3-3-3-| E |---------------------| E |-----------------------| G |-1--1-----1---1-1-1-1--| B |-2--2---0h2-
