Jon Papelbon is the best baseball thread ever
Beltmann replied to bobbob1313's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
As of right now, the Marlins are 2 games behind for the NL wild card. If they manage to scrape to the top, they should send flowers to the Brewers: Over the last two weeks, the Marlins are 6-0 against the Brewers (who have now lost 9 straight). -
So it looks like the new Dylan finally leaked...

TheMaker's statements are not opinions but irrefutable facts. His analysis is not the result of subjective preference, but of having the most enlightened ears on the planet, which is yet another verifiable fact. -
That's it precisely!

I still like, not love, the album. But I suspect that it won't date well. Sidebar: I'm probably in the (vast) minority, but I absolutely loathe that canned-sincerity version of "America the Beautiful." It gives me the willies.

I'd be excited for this, but I bought the first DVD release and can't bring myself to buy it twice... cuz that's how the Man tries to separate me from my cash.

I decided to go the eMusic route. Listening right now, and first impression is deeply positive.

To be fair, by all accounts Infamous is in the same ballpark as Capote, quality-wise, and a lot of people are saying that Toby Jones' performance might be the equal of Hoffman's. Reportedly it covers similar but different territory than Capote, dwelling more on his social life during the same time period. (Production was already well underway at the time of Capote's release.) And James Bond plays Perry Smith.

I recall Braff saying a few years ago that he'd never forget what gave him his big break, and "never" leave Scrubs before its end. Still, he's allowed to change his mind, and he's certainly entitled to make any decisions he wants about his own career.

One of my wife's friends sent that to us last week, through email. I replied with "Man, you best back off, I'm gittin' a little pissed here. Bitch, be cool!" She didn't get it, but she is a church-secretary type.

Those are both good, but I treasure my Ed Wood box set wrapped in actual pink angora.
