I agree that compassion is not their major motivation. Still, it may work out well for a good many folks and no one is (supposedly) being forced to leave. A lot of places seem to do this, though usually it involves a bus ticket.

Yes. As you see, they only list those three positions on Monster. It lists them right on the first page. They are all pretty lousy jobs, from what I understand. But could be fun if you don't have a lot of responsibilities.

I could not really find any whiff of rumors on google blog search. There was someone who said he looked like mafia--so it could've been that someone else made a similar observation and a third party ran with it. I doubt that Peoria is a mafia hotbed--though I don't know anything about that. Just guessing.
