My main problem with the sports industry is the degree to which it's publicly subsidized. I think I like it better than the last one, but not as much as ATYCLB. I think that ATYCLB has some good songs on it, even though the production is pretty boring.

I think a lot of focus is placed on their production/style changes from album to album, but I think the biggest deficit they have is the songwriting. I mean, these were the guys who wrote One, All I Want Is You, etc. The songs just aren't there. And a lot of the lyrics just seem like a mish-mash of the old songs.

The VocalEssence Ensemble did an arrangement of U2's MLK tonight on Prairie Home Companion (with nary a mention of U2, natch).
