oh this is so sad. I don't know if Natalie was religious person, but god bless and god speed. I alway thought that she chose the coolest scene name ever.

Hey - Good call! I've got the release from a couple years ago with the chicken song, but the stupid thing is copy protected so it doesn't show up on my computer.

Ok, looks like a lot of intricately constructed Andrew Bird-type Folk/pop. I would have to say Basia Bulat for you: http://www.myspace.com/basiamyspace Me: http://www.last.fm/user/Tualla/

I used to recommend this and its sequels. Until one day, someone returned my VHS copy with this comment, 'It should have been called Diddlysquaassti'.

Finally caught up for the start of season 5, but it will be another year or so before I get to see new episodes. Season 4 was an addicting blur of watching all the discs in the course of one weekend. I felt like a junkie at the end.

You Am I - at the Spaceland Aug 2008, recorded, produced, and dedicated to/by Ms Kidsmoke. Thanks Donna!

It's taken me a while to appreciate just how good the above is. 'You've been driving on the rumble strip for 2 hours now Sometimes I think you've lost your care Your eyes are open, your foot's on the gas But you are not there' I'm gonna hold ya 'til Manitoba I'm gonna hold ya until Wheat City Then Brandon can take your hand' I believe the song is about a transexual love triangle, with truckers...

Man, of all the crass, commercial things to do on the internet, pimping bands is the lowest of the low! Wish I could be there Mart. Look to be coming to Manhattan in the new year, using a friend's apartment in the Trump tower for a base of operations. Please say that you will be moving heaven and earth and playing some show whenever I get my shit together and decide on a date.

I've seen Jenn Grant open for the weakerthans and was very impressed, but then totally forgot to seek out any of her music. Luckily, Frank at chromewaves posted some Christmas standards by Ms Grant and they easily got added to the top of the Ipods Holiday Songs playlist: http://www.chromewaves.net/mp3/JennGrant-H...leChristmas.mp3 http://www.chromewaves.net/mp3/JennGrant-OHolyNight.mp3 http://www.chromewaves.net/mp3/JennGrant-SilverBells.mp3 That Richard Hawley version of silent night that's also posted over there is pretty great. AND, and I would like to point out that Mart's mix

Oh yeah and I was hoping and knowing you were going to say that. If anything it is the one Beatles songs that has grown in stature faster than anything else in the catelog. It is the first trance song and if I was a club DJ, it would get played every single night.
