I like Thompson when he's upbeat and happy and so this one is always my favourite: Tons of these songs have been covered by Nashville artists and seeing that tour in 1984 (?) was fantastic. Oats - I think you'll really like it. Their Christmas show is coming up next Saturday and it is a fun time of sitting in a beer palour hotel sipping small glasses of Labatt 50. I'm playing: and I love it. The vocals remind me of Joey Burns and the simple, looping folk melodies are tremendous.
