and that bunny... Yeah, no problem, I randomly found that site one day, the best bootleg other than the Intonation festival one, is the Bumbershoot one, even though it's an echo-y soundboard. The stuff with RHett and Jon is awesome. "Meaningless" is probably my favorite record of 2007 so far, even though it wasn't realeased this year...

That's how I got into them too...the documentary. At first I wasn't impressed, then when I saw him play that dobro I was like the record is really great. I'm trying to convince friends to go down to Atlanta to see him next weekend. He's a really cool guy too, regularly coresponds to the fan email.. I asked a question about the tuning of the dobro... The part in the movie where Kiefer Sutherland jumped into the Christmas tree cracked me up!

They are pretty much my new favorite band, and I was wondering if anybody else here likes them? They have a lot of blues influences...

there's a really great website that has a ton of JB bootlegs... Fairfax Avenue- A Jon Brion Fansite the best set is from intonation, imo. the largo shows are great too...even though on some of them the sound quality isn't great.

my dad has boycotted the show, because before it was fictionalized enough to be interesting, now he said they are just playing on viewer's fear... he made a lot of sense, but i am still watching it. flipped between it and heros last night.

i think that show is probably in my top 5 shows ever seen. actually it is #2.

i am on spring break that week and i am saving up money to fly up north... what a cool show that would be!

yeah, i know, but these days you never know what could happen in an audience! i sure hope he plays it... actually, i've had the pleasure of meeting Jeff twice. Once after my first Wilco show (very long story), and once before the show at the Ryman this past March. I was walking back to the truck after picking up our tickets at Will Call, and I noticed a bunch of people by the bus. So I walked over there, and sure enough there was Jeff. Talked to him for a few minutes. I think I was more shocked that he remembered who I was than anything. Glenn came over too, and he kept dropping his fork

I got a response from Music Today about why the Knoxville tickets haven't come yet: We have experienced a delay in the shipment of our tickets to this show. Once tickets ship you will receive an email confirmation of shipment along with the tracking number for your order. In case we are unable to ship your tickets in time for you to receive them before the show, we will notify you via e-mail of the delivery method being changed to will call. You will have the opportunity to reply to the e-mail with the name of the person picking up the tickets if it is different than the name on the bill

true. it should be really great! no disrespect is going to happen on my part. i will show my sign when he comes on stage and when he comes back for an encore, not during the actual set. it just says "will you please play Wishful Thinking?!"
