I'm telling everybody money to buy a computer for school. Thought about a new guitar, but I am gonna wait for my income tax check for that I think. I am gonna get my sister that new Elliott Smith picture book.

I don't own anything for the computer other than what's on it and the Sims, so that's not a big deal at all. I do wonder though, will my Ipod work on the mac?

Yeah, I was going to get a Dell because that's what the home PC is(sill running XP because it's a good 5 years old), but since Vista came out and everyone hates it, I think a mac is probably the sure way to go now.

Hey all, For Christmas this year I am asking all my relatives for money instead of gifts (did the same thing 2 years ago to pay for guitar instruction) to purchase a laptop computer for school. I've been thinking about going with a Mac, but I dunno. The price tag on them is very hefty. I don't think I've ever even had that much money, so I'm wondering, is it worth it? I'm really leaning towards it mostly because that seems to be the only computers they use in the music dept. at the school I am going to transfer to next year... So what do all you mac users think? Is it a good decision

Krystals was born right here in Chattanooga, so we eat there once every few months of so. It's ok, but I always get the little chicken ones, not the burgers... This thread makes me want to go to Wendy's...

Go! I saw him back in 2004 and it was great. He usually plays 80 minutes or so, so relatively short by Wilco standards, but it was a fun show. He's really funny between songs too.

Saw it last night. Thought it was pretty cool. We saw the 3D version so it made it really cool. I need to figure out where the hell I've seen the guy that played Wiglaf at before... do you guys know right off hand what else he's been in? edit- man, i lost that bet. my bf said it was mad eye moody...he was right. damn.

i saw 3 wilco shows this year and one jeff solo show. Jeff solo: Knoxville 1/30/07 Wilco: Atlanta 6/19/06 Berkeley 8/24/07 Santa Barbara 8/26/07 best solo show- the only one i saw. my sister went with me and she ended up in the front row. we got to talk to jeff for a bit afterward and he was really sweet to my sister who was freezing and nervous about meeting him. best wilco show- without a doubt out of the 3 times i saw wilco this year the berkeley show was the best setlist wise. santa barbara was cool because i got to be in the front row with donna (and collin was right behind us)..
