Today at school my little sister had her phone, ipod, and wallet (debit card and cash along with social security card) stolen. She lost $300 from her bank account, and the bank has put a hold on the charges/card. Vibes would be appreciated. About this time last year she had another ipod stolen. She reported it to the officer at school, but it's not likely any of it will reappear. I thought about setting up a donation page for her so people could give a dollar or two to help her get a new ipod and phone, because she saved all summer for the phone, and the ipod was her christmas and birth

Mom- I have no idea what to get her. She's hard to shop for and I always buy the wrong thing. Dad- New pair of scuba gloves, because his have holes in the fingers... not a good idea cos the trigger fish bite! Sister- The Elliott Smith picture book and an exploding dog shirt Dog- Some of her favorite cookies.

Oh yeah, I will just have to either run the ipod on the home PC or figure out how to put the songs on the mac without having them erased from the ipod...

I'm telling everybody money to buy a computer for school. Thought about a new guitar, but I am gonna wait for my income tax check for that I think. I am gonna get my sister that new Elliott Smith picture book.

I don't own anything for the computer other than what's on it and the Sims, so that's not a big deal at all. I do wonder though, will my Ipod work on the mac?

Yeah, I was going to get a Dell because that's what the home PC is(sill running XP because it's a good 5 years old), but since Vista came out and everyone hates it, I think a mac is probably the sure way to go now.

Hey all, For Christmas this year I am asking all my relatives for money instead of gifts (did the same thing 2 years ago to pay for guitar instruction) to purchase a laptop computer for school. I've been thinking about going with a Mac, but I dunno. The price tag on them is very hefty. I don't think I've ever even had that much money, so I'm wondering, is it worth it? I'm really leaning towards it mostly because that seems to be the only computers they use in the music dept. at the school I am going to transfer to next year... So what do all you mac users think? Is it a good decision

Krystals was born right here in Chattanooga, so we eat there once every few months of so. It's ok, but I always get the little chicken ones, not the burgers... This thread makes me want to go to Wendy's...

Go! I saw him back in 2004 and it was great. He usually plays 80 minutes or so, so relatively short by Wilco standards, but it was a fun show. He's really funny between songs too.
