As usual, you really need to lighten up, Francis. I enjoy their cover of "September" by Earth Wind and Fire, and I'd like to bang the girl. Beyond that, I don't have much use for them. I don't really find them very offensive, although using a deliberate misspelling of the French word for "grapefruit" as their band name seems kind of asinine to me.

I would like to murder both of those kids, mostly because they chose "Pomplamoose" as their name.

Yeah, but as Recorded Nap pointed out, there's no reason to believe that we're at the end, although 20 years would be a long time to wait. Also, there are other parts of the board that still hold my interest. Also, it's fun to see people get worked up about this stuff. Also, there's the perfect pop songs thread. It's just as valid as the posters who fawn over Wilco albums they haven't heard yet.
