  1. i think it would be fun to stand next to a member of the bloods at a wilco show. I know how to throw their sign so i am SO in.
  2. I'm not waiting in lines for these with the exception of maybe saturday. i just want a seat in the balcony anywhere i can see. it seems that if you were going to go through the trouble of waiting in line, you wouldn't want other line-waiters to know when you were getting there.
  3. her legs scared the crap out of me.

  5. there is a ticket forum for this.
  6. I'm one too. I also was the last time around and I think I got made fun of for it? Being undecided raises moral questions about me actually voting. If I don't really care for anyone, and vote for one of them, is it wrong?
  7. i had to come to work- but the drive in was simply treacherous. we are getting free pizza for lunch to make up for it.
  8. i got an 8/10 match with Obama. I am more interested in who each person would has as their VP running mate were they to clinch the nomination. I think I will be voting based on that person, in the end.
  9. i think most singers use lip singing (besides beatboxers?). If he lip syncs, then that is too bad.
  10. nothing for us yet, either. If I'm calculating correctly, they are mailing them today (don't they mail 2 weeks prior to the show?).
  11. well, okay, i meant stupid just for feeling that way. stupid in general is a whole different ball game.
  12. yeah, what the heck? If someone is bored with it it's not like they can change that or they're stupid. That's just how it is!
  13. joshua tree/yucca valley/pioneertown/29 palms/amboy, CA kane, PA LA, CA (sometimes) chicago, IL asheville, NC (based only on looks, i wasn't there long enough to enjoy it) Samamish, WA Issaquah, WA (loved it here for some reason I can't remember) anywhere in the Navajo Nation (Kayenta, Monument Valley)
  14. also, 2.5 hrs north of the city is rachel nevada. home to area 51 and the Little A'Le'Inn. Never been but if you are up for a different experience... i bet this would be interesting. http://www.rachel-nevada.com/
  15. i love and loathe las vegas. got married there, too. 1. Hellooo? How is it that no one has mentioned the Star Trek simulation ride and museum at the Hyatt?! Totally awesome. 2. Get out of the city- drive out to red rocks park or hoover or mead or something. especially if you can be out there at night... incredible. There is nothing more brilliant than a desert sky. 3. stay at the hard rock. the beds are super huge and it is really nice. they have deals in the off season since they tend to be somewhat pricey. 4. I echo the monorail. super easy and not crowded. as long as
  16. my parent's saw that special once and have asked me multiple times if i've been there yet. I haven't.
  17. jeopardy is shown at 3:30pm on tv here in chicago... how am i ever supposed to watch it?! don't say tivo, please.
  18. there was definitely a thread about the wire a year ago. i don't think there is anything wrong with a new one. I watch it On Demand because they have next Sunday's episode up the Monday prior. So I've already seen the future and will not comment. There are so many ways this final season could go- its pretty exciting!
  19. i love milk & honey... it has always been busy when i've gone but i've always gotten a table within 5 minutes or so. it really is worth it because the food is delish. They make these homemade potato chips that they serve with the breakfast sandwiches. Its a yuppie and baby crowd but its nice, well priced, and a great breakfast. If you will be in the city, hot doug's is ESSENTIAL. Duck fat fries are only served Fri and Sat (they will change your life) and they are only open mon-sat 10:30-4. check out the specials, which are always changing: http://www.hotdougs.com/specials.htm Buon
  20. i recently freaked out when i discovered my friends do this. apparently, so far, i am still in the minority. nasty.
  21. i sort of do and sort of don't understand tax rebates for kids. on the one hand, kids are expensive and it helps families to have that deduction. on the other hand, kids cost society more than no kids, so why wouldn't families owe more for the kids? i'm am seriously oversimplifying my thought pattern, which is totally simpleton to begin with.
  22. this is kind of exciting, i love each of their voices on their own.
