  1. nope, they played that song when i saw them live. the song stems from adam's insane obsession with joni mitchell.
  2. norbit is totally taking the make-up award.
  3. i saw them at a 21 and up show in the palms casino in las vegas. not the most awesome crowd but not bad either. actually... everyone was pretty nice and no one even annoyed me the whole show, which is unusual. it wasn't phenomenal, but it was a good show and i don't recall any spoken word anything. i like when they mix tidbits of others of their songs together but i don't like it when adam repeats a line waaaaay too many times. i saw them again at bridge school in 2004 and it was a decent show, too. I still probably wouldn't pay to see then again, unless the price was very reasonable.
  4. he does seem to write about the same stuff over and over again... but i sort of like that. its like theres a singular theme through all his music. its kind of cool to see how different sings relate to each other. if you like the songs, that is. mrs potter's lullabye may be in my top 10 songs ever. it really gets me every time.
  5. yeah, i think this comes after the story about lindsay lohan doing community service in a morgue.
  6. amitabul still existed in august... however, we drove out there only to find that it was closed on sundays.
  7. don't you have to be somewhat poor to get this? if i did get the $1600 for couples, i would put it toward paying my taxes, and it still wouldn't be nearly enough.
  8. i went there with my vegan sister. it was "eh." they were having a leak in the ceiling and water was splashing next to us, the food was over priced and tasted "fine." However, I would recommend it for vegan dessert... they had the most awesome vegan cookie dough shake in the world. I think it may have been $8 though. There are much better vegan options in the city... I'm not vegan but I took my sister to: - Irazu (Costa Rican) on Milwaukee has vegan options and is out of this world delicious... try the oatmeal shake made with water or soy milk... you won't be sorry. I would recommend t
  9. huh.. john edwards is my #1 with 51 %... still, thats not a very high percent matching. this tells me that i really don't align myself with anyone in any real way. just like i thought.
  10. i loved maybe 3 songs from hard candy and have always been a fan of the other stuff. i'll listen to these later but i really have low expectations... i hope i'm wrong.
  11. I also got my current job via monster, tailoring my resume to analytical skills. There are all kinds of job boards for specific professions and specific cities. I think the best option is thinking of companies that are in your city (the bigger they are the more jobs they'll have open) and just going directly to their websites.
  12. well, aren't you fancy with your birthday and all. have a happy day!
  13. it also used to be at the beginning, from what I remember, so they were actually able to get up it.
  14. no, i think you are right. I thought i saw a guy with a stopwatch down in the pit, though, maybe he didn't know what to do!
  15. i don't remember people getting worn out so quickly in the original! It was fun but I think 2 hours was a little too long.
  16. these are both awesome. I prefer the BBC version of Kitchen Nightmares. i pretty much want to eat at every place they've visited in DD'n'D...
  17. Oh my goodness... my thoughts are with her family and friends. I never met Natalie but she was certainly a funny, fun, and sweet person and she will be missed.
  18. i beat that game the other night. Its neat but I was told it would unlock Duck Hunt and it didn't!
