everything was perfect. fabulous venue (probably a little bigger than my high school theater, but all new and comfy... great sound), and the band was just incredible. they are so good, i couldn't believe it. ryan's voice was gorgeous, too...wow. dear john was a highlight for me since its one of my favorites. I loved goodnight rose, too, but everything was really good, including the vaguely freestyle band intros! i've never seen ryan so self-contained (although he kept giving himself devil horns during all of the songs??). no weirdness or anything except when the band launched into a s

huh, i really liked that ending. things don't all end at once in real life, why does a tv show have to? no matter what they did, at least some things would be left hanging. i thought it was a good picture of who the family is and where they've ended up. how would tony getting killed or being in the slammer in the last scene have made it any better? no complaints from me.

ryan will be back in chicago in the fall for a regular show, so anyone who didn't get tickets this time still has hope of seeing him soon. and always check ticketmaster the day of and a couple days before an event... they release the band's extra friends and family tix (if there were any)...so you could get lucky!

i did a search, too, and couldn't find it because you need at least a 4 letter word and i was only searching by "god." what the heck... why can't i search by a 3 letter word?
