  1. yay! i posted it just for you, kate! the time out article suggests he will be at each showing. he has already filmed the follow up. it is going to be a trilogy and he wants to present the movie to audiences the same way for each film.
  2. for lovers of the absolutely bizarre, crispin glover will be hosting his new film What Is It? at the Musicbox in chicago this weekend (17th- 20th). i don't have the particular desire to see a man with cerebral palsy being jerked off, so i will not be in attendance.

  10. the same thing used to happen with my chicago trib at my old place but it hasn't happened at my new building. the trib allows you to go online and request a redelivery if you dont get your paper.. maybe the times does, too? my paper was always delivered outside so i just assumed someone out for their morning stroll would take it before i woke up. it is a pain, for sure, since a sunday morning reading the paper is such a simple and inexpensive joy.
  11. im not insane, getting out of chicago on the night before thanksgiving (heck, just getting down the block) has historically taken many hours. The show will be over before I even get home from work.
